Nice Home, But Not Heated Pool
Overall this was a lovely home.. But I did have some issues and have contacted the property management first before I wrote a review. This home is advertised as a heated pool and spa and electric over 250 would be my responsibility. Which is fine, however if you advertise a heated pool in January, then it should be heated when I arrive since it does take on average 72 hours to heat up. The pool was a balmy 71 degrees along with the hot tub. The hot tub had a timer on it which would time out after about 3 hours and dump water into the pool and we would have to start all over again heating it up. We did babysit it one evening and we used it, which I did tell the property manager that we were able to use it the but babysat it. We are a family of 6 and my kids are adults now and it would've been nice to use the pool & hot tub daily. If I had known this issue I would not have stayed there. The expense of flights and the stay, I would have paid extra for a heated Pool! I stay in rentals quite a bit and don't mind paying extra for a heated pool. So don't advertise heated if it is not heated for me when I arrive. I understand the timers, but Not when occupied. Another complaint that I did have was in the check out it stated any loads of laundry over 3 would be charged 10 a load. ??? seriously 4 beds and 6 people. What am I paying a cleaning fee for? FYI for another renter to inquire on the heated pool during the winter months. I was not pleased & would not stay again
