The east-facing backyard is ideal for shade in the afternoons. Boat dock with a ladder for kids to jump off the roof into 10-14ft deep water. Bring your boat or rent one. It's a 5-minute boat ride to the dam for the smoothest water, ideal for skiing, surfing, and tubing. Incredible fishing as well!

3BR/2BA, 2,200 sq. ft. with a very functional and open floor plan. The home features wood flooring throughout and 10-foot ceilings, which makes the space feel even more spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need. Large, newly renovated master bath with walk-in shower and plenty of storage for all your suitcases and belongings while visiting. The massive outdoor deck is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. Enjoy the Hammock and make some s’mores by the fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs. ***Pet friendly, but must be approved on a case-by-case basis. Spring Break Trip

This lakehouse is absolutely the best. The house is very spacious and the lay out is great! Easy in and out for my boat and the kitchen is terrific. Fished for a week with my grandkids and being on the water made is very easy to zip back to house and tie up to the dock for a quick lunch and then back at it. I will no doubt stay here every time I visit Lake Bob Sandlin.

Great House on the Lake

This was a perfect house to stay in with family and our 2 dogs. This was a gorgeous home that was better than property listing. It was clean and spacious for everyone. Had a great time and would absolutely come back !

Beautiful Cozy Cove…

We had another wonderful time staying here. The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and in a great location on the lake. The marina is super close by and we were even able to have some groceries delivered from Walmart. The cove is so peaceful and great for fishing and paddle boarding. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. You really cannot go wrong with this place. We will definitely be staying here again.

A lovely retreat

We rented for our family to stay as we were attending a niece’s wedding in Mount Pleasant. A beautiful home that was actually nicer in person than the photos projected. Comfy furnishings, an easy kitchen to navigate and very comfortable beds. The linens were a very nice quality. Our Host was responsive and helpful. We had 5 adults and a great weekend together.

Fabulous stay

This is our second time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed this lake house. If you’re looking for a lake house that has great views and a great dock. This house is for you. My husband is a big fisherman and this place is fabulous. I love the views. I can sit outside and read my book and Enjoy the view all day. The house has everything you need. The host are wonderful to work with. They responded very fast if I needed anything. We stayed there for six weeks this time and really enjoyed. We got to relax and enjoy fishing. I highly recommend.

Unbelievable Property!!!

This Lake House is perfect in so many ways. CLEAN and COMFORTABLE is definitely an important part of the foundation to create a must stay property, this property sets a standard. A home away from home feeling while creating a new experience. It's hard to capture what to expect in pictures, it was definitely beyond any expectations we had. From inside to outside, we enjoyed all this property has to offer. We look forward to making this a part of our family Texas visits going forward.

Beautiful property

This was a family get away and to celebrate a birthday. The fishermen in the family enjoyed the lake, and the rest of us relaxed on the patio and the dock. There is lots of nice outdoor furniture to relax in. There were floats and other water "toys" to use and enjoy in the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with all the kitchen utensils you would need. The house is lovely and we were very comfortable. The host was very responsive and answered all my questions. Only negative, was that the sprinkler system was running when we arrived ( we were about 20 minutes early) and the grass and walkways were very wet. I would absolutely book this again.

The Best of The Best

Pictures do not do this property justice! The house was immaculate with large bedrooms and bathrooms! Bedrooms are spaced well throughout the house. Bathrooms were clean with large showers. Kitchen is large with great appliances and stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Massive deck with tables and chairs for eating or relaxing. The yard down to the lake is spacious and well taken care of. Dock was perfect and we had no issues tying up our 23 ft boat to the side of it and zero worry since the dock is at least 300 yards inside a no wake zone! Lake is amazing - we saw 5 boats during our 4 day stay. We will definitely rent this lake house again! Thank you to the wonderful owners who take great care of this home and allow families like ours to come and vacation.

Relaxing and peaceful family getaway

We couldn’t have needed this getaway more and my family enjoyed every single second of it. This home is in a lovely neighborhood tucked back in an extremely beautiful and peaceful cove. It was absolutely perfect for fishing, paddle boarding and swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful quiet mornings on the dock with a cup of coffee and our fun relaxing evenings hanging out on the back porch eating s’mores and hotdogs. This home was extremely clean, well equipped with everything we needed, very spacious and comfortable and the beds were absolutely fabulous! The boat dock is easy to get to and use. The owners boat is on the only lift, but we had no problem accommodating two large bass boats tied to either side of the dock and had plenty of room left for another one or two. The house is conveniently located 2-3 minutes from Barefoot Bay Marina that has a boat ramp and convenience store/gas station, etc. In my opinion this place would be ideal for all ages and all types of family getaways. We had two adults, two well seasoned adults, two teenagers and two dogs in our group and we had plenty of room and plenty of things to do. The owners were extremely nice and quick to answer any questions we had. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and helped us with a problem even after we left. If I could give this place more than five stars I would! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks again from the Halls

Peace not far from home!

We came here for Thanksgiving to spend time with friends and family. The house was very clean and stocked well with towels, spices and such. I am really weird about using kitchen sponges and stuff but this house had brand new kitchen sponges and a lot of cleaning supplies; I know that is an odd thing to mention but it is one of my pet peeves. I loved the back patio and boat dock. The house was in the cove area and I think that helped to shield us from the wind because it was in the 50's everyday and we were comfortable outside in a jacket. I think the highlight of our trip was when we were all on the deck and a Bald Eagle flew above us; it was in slow motion and we all were in awe. They do allow pets and we brought a gate and put it outside by the garage side door. It made for a perfect little dog run so we did not have to walk them 20 times per day. I have also never stayed at a place that offered so many amenities; lake toys, games and more. The owners allow you to use all of their lake toys and they have TONS! I would consider coming back in the summer for this reason alone. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. It did take us a few days to figure out where this weird bird noise was coming from; at first, we joked it was Skinwalkers but on our last day we took the puppies for a walk and one of the neighbors had a talking parrot; we all got a good laugh about it.
