"The hotel is beautifully designed, the food is wonderful, the staff are lovely. Two things let it down for me - the rooms do not have AC so our room was 26 degrees which made sleeping difficult. The hotel is on a main road through Cortina so having the window open to try and cool the room made things pretty noisy (which also made sleeping difficult). The communal spaces clearly are air conditioned so it feels like a miss to have not incorporated into the bedrooms in a hotel of this calibre. I heard other guests talking about the temperature of their rooms at breakfast (“sweltering”). The hotel did give us a fan but that only does so much. For late autumn/winter stays I’m sure this would be absolutely no problem but for September, it was just too hot and I left feeling not well rested after 4 nights."

"La chambre était extra petite avec aucun rideau à la fenêtre, donc manque d’intimité pour le soir. C’est un secteur un peu isolé. Le souper était correct mais le déjeuner extra ! Le personnel très gentil. Ils nous ont préparé une boîte à lunch pour le déjeuner du premier jour car on devait partir tôt. C’était un beau déjeuner. Belle attention !"

"Great location. Great room with view of lake and with a balcony, very convient for hiking the tre cime and catching the bus, easy walking to nearby restaurants, food was good, breakfastwas great, staff was very accommodating. I would come back."

"As an American, I have to say that I was very impressed. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean and nice. The staff is friendly and the breakfast, wow!! So delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend this place enough and will return."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location for hiking in the Easter Dolomites - great / reasonable pricing. The restaurant is upmarket and with a price to match. Taste was amazing - but for a Canadian Dollar very expensive. My best Apple Strudel I have had in the Dolomites - and I've had a few."

"Pros: 1) Decoration has a minimalist Nordic touch. 2) It was very clean. 3) It appeared to be newly remodeled with hardwood floors! 4) It was right near the Lago di Sorapis trailhead! Cons: 1) I couldn’t sleep well. The AC wasn’t working despite a seemingly functional thermostat. When I first walked into the room, it was 78 degrees Fahrenheit. I can handle that at home with fans, but here, it’s a giant no. The room had a window that I opened for a little cooling. 2) It had a strange layout, like the original intent was to have a communal bathroom for single rooms. The bathroom was small and cramped. 3) The noise was noticeable. Outside in the hallway, people were still banging around at 11PM. The hotel has signs asking guests to be respectful and quiet though."
