The smell upon entry makes you smile, the breakfast by the water was beautiful food was delicious i wish i could've taken the truffle spread with me. look forward to visiting again.

This is the best property to stay in Piran on the water. Beautiful ocean views! The hotel is in the heart of piran and easy walking to other areas. I loved my stay.

An absolutely incredible location right on the waterfront. No more than 500 m from just about anything you would want to see or do in town. It was all of 10 m out the back door to get into the beautiful clear blue and warm water. The breakfast setup was quite appealing and very well done. While the price of a night stay is higher than other places in town, the value proposition was well worth it. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and we really enjoyed sitting out there and watching the sunset over the azure Blue water

I hope to make another trip to Slovenia and without a doubt I will stay at Hotel Piran. The location is excellent! The rooms are beautiful! The staff is super friendly and helpful! The breakfast is delicious! The rooftop bar has an amazing view! 10 out of 10!

We stayed in the old part of the hotel with the portholes. The room was illuminated by the sun on the sea waves, it was also great waking up to look over the sea. It definitely added to a unique stay. The rooms itself was well laid out and we enjoyed the conscious effort to be more sustainable. The hotel itself was amazing with a great location next to the water, ideal for a swim within meters of the hotel. We also tried the restaurant and were really impressed with the service and quality (albeit vegetarian options were lacking). Staff were all super an were really helpful at all stages for recommendations. The shuttle to /from the nearby garage was also great adding to a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful view (we had a first floor seat side room with an outdoor area). Very long breakfast serve time provided great flexibility for both early and late risers. Only issue i encountered was I could not locate an outlet in the bathroom so I had to do my hair in the main room.

The views of the Adriatic from our balcony were breathtaking. It was a lovely location. The hotel made parking and access to the hotel a breeze. They came and picked us up from the parking garage as the city center is car-free. We will definitely stay there longer the next time.

The hotel is in a wonderful location along the sea and was close to everything. Our room facing the sea was outstanding and we enjoyed time on the small deck. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had good variety and was tasty. This is a gem of a hotel and we would most definitely stay here again.

Very well positioned hotel on the quayside in the old town of Piran. A little noisy from the number of bathers underneath our balcony, which went on into the evening. The first room we were offered was tiny and smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and to be honest we would have moved hotels, but in fairness when we complained, we were moved to a different room which was perfectly adequate and met our booking expectations of sea view and balcony. The hotel itself was a little tired, but was okay for a short stay.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with excellent service. A special thank you to Ermin at the front desk, who helped us upgrade to a balcony room (worth the extra cost for the breathtaking sunset views!), and to Aida as well for her warm and helpful service. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!

Beautiful hotel by the sea. We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the location of the hotel and the very helpful staff. I especially appreciated: - The beautiful surroundings and the location (close to everything you want to see or do in Piran). - Free beach towels. - Less than 5 meters to go for a swim in the sea. - Roof top bar. - Comfortable bed. - Free shuttle service to and from the garage outside of Piran (you aren't allowed to park in Piran if you don't live there). I would however advise everyone to bring earplugs: it's an amazing but old building, and both the doors and the walls are very thin. The first night I woke up every time someone used the elevator or talked in the hallway. The breakfast was good, but I missed pancakes, and would have liked more vegetarian/vegan options. Apart from this, everything was perfect! I would definitely stay here again, and then I would make sure to upgrade to a room with sea view. (City view was OK but sea view would have been much better.)

Fantastic view, perfect for watching the sunset from your own balcony! If you have a car, you can get a discount for the parking at the Garage Fornače. Breakfast buffet is also really good. Only down side is that they do not provide an electric kettle or tea/coffee in the room. I did bring my own for the trip, but since we were only staying one night and had to park the car far away (20 minutes walk), I had forgotten to pack it into my overnight bag, so it was left behind in the big suitcase. There is at least a free hotel shuttle service from the hotel to the parking garage so you don't have to pay for the public one.

Location was great, right in the middle of old town. Room was clean! The only thing is that shower was not well maintained but besides that everything was great! Ps. Bring your own hair dryer if you need one because the one in the bathroom turns off every minute to “save energy” and you have to wait a couple of minutes to use it again so it’s annoying.
