The perfect hotel to stay over inside the walls of the historical old part of Cartagena. A hidden gem the Bastion hotel, with spacious clean rooms, good and healthy breakfast buffet, friendly staff and a beautiful rooftop with swimming pool, and the hotel offers 24/7 à la carte service. Highly recommend to stay at this great property.

The hotel and amenities are great after 3pm the day parties ends and the 6 rooms that are on the resort become quiet and you get to relax the rest of the evening. It is not a party location after 3pm.the staff is amazing and very attentive and welcoming.

Very friendly staff always ready to help, the room and overall hotel was very clean. The only thing is the pool is very small and there aren’t any amenities like a gym in the property. However, I highly recommend it and I will book again.

Everything was great! Despite all the reviews, the food was AMAZING! The service great! The only thing i would make a note of was they have a bird named Coco and if she doesn’t like you, she’ll chase you! (First hand experience) but overall, 10/10 would recommend!!!

The best hotel in Cartagena! We had an amazing time at the Santa Teresa. The staff was exceptional and the rooms are very spacious and confortable. The breakfast had the most delicious food and the pool overlooking the old city and the new city was what made love our stay the most! Be prepared for the most beautiful and romantic sunsets at this rooftop pool!
