- Mill Creek Point is a non-smoking, pet-free cabin on 45 private acres in the heart of Red River Gorge -
Trade the crowded trailheads for 45 private acres of your own at Mill Creek Point, our spacious Red River Gorge retreat built for families, friends, and groups who want the adventure to start the second they step outside. Explore 3 developed private hiking trails, wander beyond the marked paths across the property, then come home to a massive hot tub, expansive covered deck, big firepit, and enough room for up to 12 guests to actually spread out.
And when you do feel like leaving? Natural Bridge State Resort Park is only 2.5 miles, or about 6 minutes, away. • 45 Private Acres + Hiking: This is what makes Mill Creek Point different. Our cabin sits on 45 private wooded acres with 3 developed hiking trails, and guests are welcome to explore throughout the property. Skip the crowded trailheads, lace up your boots, and start your adventure right from the cabin.
Hunting is permitted on the property. Trail cameras are also located throughout portions of the wooded acreage. These cameras are motion-triggered and used only to help prevent trespassing and illegal hunting activity. They are located in the forest and do not monitor private guest areas.
• Kitchen + Amenities: Our spacious kitchen is built for groups and stocked for everything from quick trail-day breakfasts to full family dinners. It includes a gas stove and oven, copper sink, French-door refrigerator with pull-out freezer and built-in ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, French press, hand mixer, plenty of cookware, dinnerware, utensils, and everyday cooking essentials. Coffee and coffee supplies are not provided.
The kitchen also includes bar seating, while the dining area gives your group another place to gather around the table. A high chair is available for little travelers, and an iron is also provided for guest use.

Start the morning with coffee on the expansive covered deck, head out for a hike without ever leaving the property, then come back for a long soak in the massive hot tub, dinner at the outdoor dining table, or a night around the large firepit with plenty of seating.
The gas grill makes group dinners easy, and with 45 private acres surrounding you, there’s room to explore, unplug, and enjoy the kind of peaceful setting that’s getting harder to find.
• Pet Policy: Mill Creek Point is not pet-friendly due to owner allergies. Please do not bring pets to our cabin. Unauthorized pets may result in a $350 fee.
• Starter Essentials: We provide an Essential Starter Pack with 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, 3 dishwasher pods, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge. Please note that these supplies are provided as a starter amount and are not replenished during your stay, so you may want to bring or purchase additional items for longer visits.
• Firewood + Grill: Firewood is not provided, but it is available for purchase at most local gas stations. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas. Propane is provided for the gas grill.
• Parking + Access: Mill Creek Point is reached by gravel hills with ruts in portions of the road. 4WD is required, and an elevated vehicle is strongly recommended due to the terrain. Please use extra caution, especially during snow, ice, heavy rain, or other inclement weather.
Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles at the cabin. Additional vehicles will need to use the local park-and-ride and carpool to the property. Trailers are prohibited.
You will receive the exact property address, GPS-friendly directions, and check-in instructions via SMS 3 days prior to arrival. • Location: Mill Creek Point gives you the best of both worlds—a private 45-acre mountain retreat while still being only 2.5 miles, or about 6 minutes, from Natural Bridge State Resort Park.
Hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sightseeing, restaurants, and other Red River Gorge favorites are all within easy reach—but with 3 private trails and 45 acres waiting outside, you may find yourself spending more time at the property than you planned.
🍂 Seasonal Fall Note:
During fall, leaves are actively dropping throughout the Red River Gorge. Our porches, decks, and outdoor spaces are swept and prepared before arrival, but fresh leaves can accumulate quickly—even shortly after housekeeping has finished. A few leaves on outdoor surfaces are a normal part of staying in the woods during autumn and are not an indication that the property was not cleaned.
• A Note About Nature:
You’re staying in the heart of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and all the nature that comes with them. While our cabins are professionally cleaned and routinely treated for pests, occasional insects and other woodland visitors may still make an appearance—especially during warmer months. This is a natural part of staying in a heavily wooded mountain environment and does not necessarily indicate a cleanliness or pest-control issue.
