Family weekend

Had a great time staying here with family and two little ones. Hosts were very easy to contact and all the instructions were very clear. We had lots of space to play and relax and enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub

Perfect for the Family

Beautiful spot! Lots of space, perfect for the family. The pool table was a hit. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back decks. Club house facilities were great.

Spacious house

The house was a great size for our group of 7. Everyone had their own space. The ad mentions lake access, but the house is so far from the lake that it's not an easy walk. We had to drive back and forth to access the community pool and playground. Unfortunately (not fault of owners) the lake was full of blue-green algae and we couldn't play in the water. We were thankful there was a community pool option. The dining table space was on the back deck. The entire time we were there, there was such a sewage smell that it was hard to sit outside or open up windows. The entire community is fit around a golf course, so if you don't golf, it is less exciting. I was hoping for more of a waterfront cabin, but you can't even see the lake from the house. The access and location were not very clear pre-arrival. There is no way i would have found my way up a meandering hill of properties to this house if i hadn't phoned. I feel more direction could have been given in advance.

Beautiful Cabin

Property was great overall. Slept 7 very comfortably, kitchen had all the essentials and the pool table was a really great touch. Make sure you meet the property manager to enter the resort. In winter it is a long walk from the gate to get the gate opener from the cabin. The front steps were super icy and there was no salt or shovel. The loft is great space but we could not watch dvds as there was no charger for the PS3 controllers. There is no kitchen table but there is an eating bar for 4. Overall great place and our issues were more inconveniences than concerns.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Cabin is everything it says it will be. Would recommend staying there. One thing of caution - the write up says it is open till Canadian thanksgiving. We were there the beginning of October and the golfing, restaurant and pool were closed. We were told by a local resident when we got there that it generally closes end of September. We went there intending to golf (weather permitting) and eat at the restaurant and had to make other arrangements. We are definitely hoping to come back some time to get the whole experience.

Very nice place, right on the golf course, excellent communication with Brenda, she responded very quickly when we had any questions. We would stay again! There was a few things we were not crazy about. First were the carpets desperately need a good cleaning, no light near the tub/shower in the master, it was very dark to bathe or shower in the evening and finally the noise of the lawn mowers and weed whippers at 7:30 am, no sleeping in here.

Great golf getaway

Location and property were excellent

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Unfortunately being a resort, there were a number of things that can be improved on. I sent 4 messages a month and a half prior about a question I had but did not get my answer until about a week before our stay. Also the maintenance was not what I expected. Chipped and cracked dishes, light towels/facecloths that were well worn and washed out, light fixture that looked like it needed securing, windows needed cleaning inside and out, cobwebs across outside structures and entrance doors, fridge not wiped out, stove could be better cleaned are some of the things that can be improved on. Nevertheless we would still recommend this property. Needs were very comfortable. Deck was very suitable. Sufficient room for families to play, eat and sleep. Amenities such as swimming pool, restaurant with a deck, driving range and golf course etc. were wonderful. We will probably want to rent for a longer stay next time. We much appreciated this accommodation.

Community gem in central Alberta

Whispering pines is a beautiful spot to spend the long weekend. The people were friendly and the cabin was exactly what we needed. The pool table was such a great bonus, it became a real centre of fun for our group! The cabin was really well stocked! The pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and bbq were in great condition and we had no issue cooking all our meals there. The information book at the cabin could have been a little more up to date but the host was so easy to contact and got back to me right away with any question. The loft was a bit hot but the cabin had a fan that we used to cool it down. The indoor pool was about a 15 minute walk away at a very nice club house and was so nice. We would for sure stay here again!

Perfect Alberta Lake Cabin

Great little escape. Very quiet. Nice cabin with little touches like piles of board games, nice deck, on the golf course, good BBQ, easy handheld dyson vacuum, guitar and more. We swam at the pool and lake, beach volleyball, ate at golf course, had ice cream at cute store Scoops, and more. Thanks for the fun.

Perfect Getaway

Great place to stay!

This was a great property for my husband and our baby. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The deck is a nice to sit out on. The master bedroom was nice and big! The fireplace is a nice touch, though we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on but it was so nice out we didn’t need it. We will definitely be back!
