Stay between the sea and the maquis<br>Discover Signura, a charming house located just a stone’s throw from the white-sand beach of Arone, recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in France.<br><br>The name Signura comes from the language of Corsican fishermen: it refers to an “amer,” a visual landmark formed by the triangulation of three points along the coast, indicating a secret spot rich in marine life—a truly prime fishing spot.<br><br>Coming from a family of fishermen from Ficaghjola Beach in Piana, we chose this name because Signura perfectly embodies the harmony between the beach, the sea, and the maquis.<br>It’s no coincidence—our ancestors named the area where the house stands “Armonio”!<br><br><br>Ideal for a vacation with family or friends, the house is nestled in the heart of the maquis, facing the sea, offering a magnificent sunset every evening—a hallmark of beautiful summer nights.<br><br>Accommodations<br><br>The house features a bright living area with a fireplace, combining a living room and an open kitchen with a large, inviting dining table. This room opens onto a terrace with a breathtaking view of the garden and the sea. The floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with roller shutters.<br><br>The kitchen, bathed in natural light, is equipped with appliances we particularly appreciate for their design, quality, and practicality: a Nespresso machine, a refrigerator, and a Smeg range. You’ll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals with Mediterranean flavors.<br><br>The room is also air-conditioned for your comfort.<br><br>This floor also features a shower room and a separate restroom.<br><br>As you head up to the mezzanine, you’ll discover a children’s bedroom decorated in soft shades of almond green, featuring a reading nook and two single beds (90 cm).<br><br>On the lower floor, two thoughtfully decorated bedrooms await you. Each features a walk-in closet, a double bed (160 cm), a private terrace, and a view of the garden. These rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with shutters and blackout curtains for peaceful mornings.<br><br>The exterior<br><br>The terrace, perfect for enjoying the outdoors, is equipped with a barbecue, two lounge chairs, and a large table for your outdoor meals.<br><br>The house is set on 4,000 m² of private land, in perfect harmony with the surrounding maquis, where wild olive trees, immortelle, arbutus, grapevines, and prickly pear cacti have been carefully tended for decades.<br><br>Nearby<br><br>Just a few minutes away are the restaurants on Arone Beach, and a few kilometers away is the village of Piana—ranked among the most beautiful villages in France—with its famous calanques, charming restaurants, and boat tours in an exceptional UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Gulf of Porto and the Scandola Nature Reserve.<br><br>We’ll be delighted to assist you throughout your stay and offer advice to ensure you have an unforgettable vacation in Corsica.
