Voller Leben, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten für Kinder und Erwachsene. Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der eindrucksvollen, lebendigen, authentischen Altstadt von Gubbio. Man ist direkt im Ort. "The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I also requested an iron but was informed that one was not available and that I would need to pay €5 for a shirt to be ironed instead. On a positive note, the breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. However, I would choose to stay at a different hotel on my next visit."

"Still bizarre for such quality place: 1- chemicals to kill bugs directly at room entries with many bugs on the ground dead in the mirning. 2 - Grass mowing 24/7 and 3 - Grass sprinkling all night in rural area, what happen to ground water in a very dry area. All saying ecology is not their forte!!!"

"Villa Cungi was the most incredible venue and residence for our wedding! The villa is a true Tuscan gem—rustic yet elegant, with stunning architecture and breathtaking views in every direction. Each private room with its own bathroom made our stay comfortable and stress-free, and our guests were absolutely enchanted by the charm and beauty of the property. The olive grove, pizza oven, and pool provided charming activities and the group dining room brought guests together. The setting created the most magical atmosphere for our wedding celebration—romantic, authentic, and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to host such a special occasion. Chiara is the perfect host and doubled as our coordinator. She is so skilled in what she does, and coordinated great vendors with timeliness and organization. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, authentic Italian villa experience, Villa Cungi is simply unmatched. We will cherish the memories made here forever!"

"The property is really well designed/laid out, and is very comfortable for 8-10. Kitchen was well-equipped. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. A very good restaurant is walkable. The pool and pool house are well maintained. Location beautiful.We loved our stay there so give it 5 stars!"

Restored Watermill with Rock Pool and Waterfall

"I stayed at the millhouse for 1 month and hosted a variety of family and friends over that time. I chose this house for its location; away from the popular tourist destinations but still with plenty to do and its history and style.It didn’t disappoint.The house is exactly as described, and even during a period of excessively hot weather it remained generally cool (especially the lower level) and was comfortable to sleep in.A dip in the stream was a welcome respite from the heat and over the month we saw the water temperature warm up, the water level drop slightly and the tadpoles arrive.There is so much to do in the area that we never got bored. Highlights were walking the long way round to San Giustino for coffee, Sansepolcro for a pre dinner drink, Anghiari (especially on market day), dinner at Castello di Sorci, aqua-aerobics at the community pool in Fighille, walking up the hill for pizza at il Glicine.A day trip to Urbino is definitely worth the effort as is Arezzo. We even took a day trip to Florence, which was a long day but definitely doable even though it was a bit of a culture shock to hear anything but Italian voices.I would recommend the millhouse and stay for at least a week!"
