Upon arrival everything looked great but when we put on the available robes to hot tub, one still had a lighter in the pocket so it clearly hadn’t been washed and left us wondering what else had been missed/skipped. That night we found that the pool and surrounding lights weren’t working. The next morning we went down to the gym and the total gym was not at all functional. By day 3 the hot tub was cloudy so we let management know and they said it was supposed to be serviced before we got there but the appointment was missed due to a miscommunication. The pool company came out the next day to address it but the 4 of us that had been in the hot tub ALL woke up with hot tub rash, which was extremely itchy and uncomfortable and lasted about a week. Needless to say, we did not use the hot tub the rest of our stay and it was still cloudy when we left. Before writing this review, I let management know and tried to give them the opportunity to reconcile since some of these issues could and should have been avoided. Unfortunately, their response was about the boxes they checked to fix it after the fact, rather than being apologetic and customer service oriented. So sad because this really is a beautiful home and an attempt at better customer service from a management company (that’s in the hospitality business) would have gone a long way.
