「House was very clean with the exception of some dust/sand on floors, even though you could not see it walking on the floors in bare feet always felt that that maybe a good washing was needed. We just swept with the broom/vacuum and it was better. But one thing that really stood out when arriving is the cement stairs dug into the hill that you needed to go down to get to the house. So glad that there was a railing to hold onto because the stairs were not level at all. This posed a real threat to...

「Beautiful area and location over looking the water. The kitchen was nice but not a lot of supplies for cooking bigger meals. Campfire had wood and we enjoyed having a fire and sitting outside. 」

「What a beautiful property! My family and I stayed for a few days to enjoy Boothbay Harbor and it was the perfect spot for our getaway. My toddler loved the open floor plan and being so close to the water. It was an ideal distance to downtown without being in the hecticness of it all. Highly recommend!!」

「This property sets a high standard with many fine details & workmanship that enhanced our comfort during our stay. We took a couple of lovely walks from the property without having to get in the car. Would be nice suggestions: some basic kitchen condiments, hair dryer, screens, & a grab bar for the bathtub. We would definitely recommend & come back. 」

「Very comfortable, clean small cottage. We slept great in the bed that was provided and it had a futon in the living area . We recommend that only 2 people stay there. They had a toaster oven , a full refrigerator and a coffee maker. It is very close to Route 1, Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta. 」

「It was just what the doctor ordered, a month in a quiet (except for street traffic which we could not see, but could hear), wooded, seemingly remote location, that was very private. Lilac cottage is so sweet, a quintessential Maine cottage with good WiFi, 10 minutes from the great town of Bath and lots of parks and beaches. Mark was the perfect host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You truly feel alone, yet connected. What a place! It’s stocked with lots of water....
