Hotel was very clean and in a good location that is not at the heart of everything but also not much of a trip to get to. The hotel had good amenities and the complimentary breakfast is nothing to write home about but does the job for getting a meal in. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The conditions at this Best Western were absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The breakfast area had reportedly been shut down by the Health Department, and the mattress in my room had springs protruding from it. These are not minor inconveniences. They raise serious questions about the cleanliness, maintenance, and management of this property. The conditions were so unacceptable that I had no choice but to leave the hotel rather than continue my stay. To make matters worse, I still have not received a refund for a stay I was forced to abandon because of the hotel’s conditions. A hotel has a basic responsibility to provide its guests with a clean, safe, and reasonably comfortable room. This property failed miserably. Absolutely disgraceful. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend that others avoid this property. Management never got back to me. I was told several times that management would arrive to speak with me, and I was even given specific times, but no one ever showed up. I was also told that there is no management on duty during the weekends, and the staff themselves said they have difficulty getting in touch with management. This lack of communication and accountability made an already unacceptable situation even worse.

Everything was very good just hotel need to facilitate customer to given parking hotel have front for free parking but you have to wake up early and move the car because shops open in morning and then u have to leave or take your car to parking lot for pay the parking fee.

The staff is very friendly and helps with recommendations. But currently, the breakfast is not being offered due to renovations. The place is super accessible from the city center and great to stay while you want explore Philly on foot and public transport.

I had a fun and enjoyable stay overall. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The room did not have a microwave, so I had to walk to the lobby whenever I wanted to heat up my dinner. Additionally, the air conditioner in our room was not working properly, and the TV seemed quite outdated.Nevertheless, despite these inconveniences, I had a pleasant experience at the hotel. The staff was welcoming, and I truly enjoyed my time visiting Philadelphia. I would consider staying here again if some of these issues were addressed.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Janitor was very busy and nice. However, breakfast was awful, not just one thing, we could barely find something acceptable: milk was sour, eggs gross, sausage hard, yogurt dispenser broken, oatmeal bad. Our TV didn’t work, obviously lots of voucher (homeless) users. Also a maid used her key and walked right into our room without knocking!! Would not recommend until they fix these problems or show some effort to notice these problems - have some QC and attentive managers.

There were roaches observed in the breakfast area and in the lobby. This is a serious sanitation and health concern, especially in an area where food is being served. The issue should be addressed promptly, and the affected areas should be thoroughly inspected and treated to prevent further infestation.

There was a bug in the bed in room 508. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they just gave me another room, but didn’t seem very phased by the bug. I talked to management and they didn’t do anything about it. The breakfast was very sparse as well. Not a lot of options. I will definitely not be coming back.

The bed base whatever it was made of collapsed when I sat on the edge. The pillows were old and used probably for over a year. The breakfast was the worst I ever tasted in my entire life if traveling. I don’t even know what I ate it looked like scrambled eggs but were not. I didn’t even dare eat the sausage they had. Then we decided to eat waffles and well the waffle maker did not cook them throughout so they were raw inside. The coffee had grounds in it and ended up in my mouth when I took one sip. Good Luck.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: We loved our stay here—because we were prepared for the parking situation: PARKING: There is no parking at hotel and none on street—but paid parking lots are across the hwy (sidewalks & lights the whole way and only a 1/2 block walk). There is a (marked by yellow curb) long 30 min. unloading zone at front door. Stop here, walk your luggage to desk and check in but I’d keep eye on car the whole time—a review said while he took luggage up to room he got towed. So leave your luggage with a partner or with front desk and take your car to parking lot. BE PREPARED WITH PHONE TO REGISTER VIA A PARKING APP. We paid about 40$ for 2 nights. Very easy-but be warned, there are 30 min parking signs all along street in front of hotel that don’t have yellow curb. Those you have to pay for on parking app. We accidentally parked there to check in and almost got a ticket. There is very little available street parking all over the city, but from this hotel, we never needed a car! We could walk to all the famous sites, museums and liberty bell etc within easy mile walk—& Reading market with every food known to mankind is only a block away. Great room, w/refrigerator . Only 1 ice machine at level below lobby across from fitness room—but I was prepared for that too and brought my own bag of ice which kept for 2 days in fridge. It’s in the city, so street noise a reality like in NYC— but I always bring a white noise machine, so it was fine. Will stay here every time!

Check in was most efficient. Information provided by the reception staff was very helpful. The room was cleaned and comfortable. The TV had multiple choices for viewing. The AC worked well and was fairly quiet. Check out went very well also. There is no parking on site. A very costly off site parking which is approximately two blocks away was referred.
