Rivertown Ranch near Creation Museum, Ark Encounter and Perfect North Slopes

This historic home is located in the small town of Petersburg, Kentucky just five miles from the Creation Museum. It is a great place to enjoy the great outdoors with a large yard and a very nice patio and front porch.
This house features spacious rooms great for families and entertaining. The living room and three of the bedrooms have a flat screen television and a DVD player with Netflix available. There is also free wifi and a kitchen with all of the amenities from home. This is a perfect house for a great getaway!

We had a wonderful vacation in this home. It was ideal for our visit to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The home is in a small town that was quiet and peaceful, with a nearby park and playground which our 1.5 and 4 year old grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. The home was clean, well equipped and stocked with all that we needed. Our hosts were also awesome in our communications prior to our stay. Highly recommend this home and hosts.

Clean and homey

Property was clean and comfortable. From the original pictures we saw we thought the property was in the country. It was right in the middle of town. It was quiet and fit our needs for a short stay.

Perfect spot

Great little town to stay in to get away...but plenty close enough to area attractions. We went to the Creation Museum, Ark Encounter, Cincinnati Zoo, and Louisville. Great town to stay in, friendly people, nice park for the kids. House was in beautiful condition. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the sweet house! It was clean, and had the supplies we needed to have dinners there! Plenty of space for all of us to have our own bed and also some fun movies and games, as well as puzzles for everyone to enjoy! We would recommend this place for sure!!

Amazing Rental Home

Very clean, organized, and fully stocked with all necessities you might need. Communication with the owners was a breeze and they are very attentive to their renters. More than enough room for families as well as extended families too. Overall a great experience!

Short hike to the river

Property was fine and as described. It was a short hike to the river and close to attractions we visited. Neighbors were noisy (mufflerless cars they liked to rev up after hours).

Perfect size little home, clean and easy access

The only issue that we had was there was not much around us as far as food. It was a little community that was right on the river, which was nice. We enjoyed being together in this home and it was very quaint with everything you need. I highly recommend it. Just make sure you take snacks and things that you can fix in the home if you don't have time to go about 20 to 30 minutes to get something else.

Mini vacation

This property couldn’t have been anymore perfect for our family. We were traveling to kings island and Cincinnati for a long weekend get away. We consisted of 4 adults and 6 kids. The kids all had their own bedroom and the adults had their own bedrooms. The house was clean and exactly as it was presented. We all had a great time!

Great place to stay to visit Creation Museum and Ark Encounter

The Rivertown Ranch was a perfect choice for our vacation with family. Everything about it was just as advertised, with plenty of comfortable sleeping space for the four adults and four children in our group. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything we needed to make meals and the table was large enough for all of us, including a nice outside table. Two full bathrooms were separated from the bedrooms. Everything was clean and well organized. We enjoyed the drive on the beautiful country roads and the convenience to both our destinations. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect home away from home

Our family consists of adult children down to 10 yr. old. All 10 of us stayed very comfortably at the house. The kids utilized the yard for football and play. The neighborhood cats were a treat for the kids as well....coming over for a pet whenever they were out. The house was so clean and well stocked of things you would need for a stay away from home. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area and we will recommend to any friends or family who go to that area.

This house was a great place to stay. The accommodations were perfect and they had everything we needed. We had plenty of space yet it was very cozy. It was very clean which is a big plus for me. I would highly recommend this house. We were there for the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter but also went to Rabbit Hash. Bonus the fall festival was going on while we were there.
