It was just what you need near Mark Twain Lake. Perfect cozy little cabin with a fire pit. Keeping things simple and easy in turn makes it good for a calming relaxing atmosphere. Still big enough to easily sleep 6 or more.

Wonderful

We so enjoyed our stay, great deck to sit and talk about days fishing action. Used gas grill to cook couple meals. Otherwise visited restaurants close by they serve excellent meals. The owner was great to communicate with. Will stay there again on our next visit.

The house (cabin) was immaculate. The host provided a welcome basket with numerous edible items. It is well furnished with comfortable furniture. We want to return in the spring possibly for a longer stay. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, spices, sugar, flour. Many other items we have usually not found in other VRBOs we have stayed in.

Fantastic weekend getaway

Perfect cabin for a family vacation. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. The deck with fire pit table was great for coffee on a chilly morning. Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time here since we were celebrating a friend's birthday at a nearby campground.

The cabin was great! It was close to everything we had planned for the weekend such as Black Jack Marina, Rustic Oak Cabin Steakhouse, and The Junction Restaurant. The cabin was clean and a cozy! It was stocked with coffee, marshmallow roasting sticks, cooking spices, laundry detergent, a portable fan for each bedroom, etc. If you need groceries I would go to Dollar General vs. IGA as it was better stocked. Two things of note: (not game changers, just fyi) there is a camera on the garage facing the porch where you would congregate. The matresses had thick foam pillow toppers on them. I couldn't figure out why my mattress dipped significantly in middle until the last day when we removed the bedding. The entire family agreed it was a great weekend!

Short Get A Way

If your a bottom line kind of person, it was accurately described, excellently located, extremely clean. If you like more details read on. The listing is very accurate it is not a cabin for six that is listed for 20 occupants and over stuffed. It is well laid out, easy to operate out of and checked all the boxes for the five of us. It was logistically centrally located and easy to get to anything needed and almost all of the things to see. It seemed almost new and was extremely clean. It is cozy and easily worked for the five of us and we had two camper friends that came and played games at night. It had plenty of room, open spaced so everyone felt a part of the action, has an awesome southern deck and gas rock fire pit which was good on our cool nights. Great place, great value! Two things that can be missed in the listing. There is no dishwasher as the kitchen is cozy but well laid out and efficient. We adjusted with paper plates and disposable casserole pans. It has a Hollywood type of bathroom on the main floor that opens to both bedrooms, if this makes you pause it's not a big deal, light off it's vacant, light on it's not. A lot of cabin in a compact efficient space, it was great for us! We will probably go back and I would bet it grows a number of regulars! No cabin is perfect but this one is really good! We had parking for a 33' trailer hooked to a long bed one ton truck and parked two cars on pads and had room for two more cars as well.
