Great condo!

This condo was perfect for a family Spring Break getaway! We enjoyed the beach, and the view was stunning all day long. We felt safe and enjoyed the driving proximity to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend!

Nice Property in a Great Location

Florida getaway!

The Perdido Key beach is so beautiful! It was fun to watch the waves from the deck every am! We love swimming in the gulf, pools, cooking and eating fresh fish!

Exactly what we wanted!

Everything was exactly as described in the listing. It was great in every way! We love the location of Beach Colony. The managers of this unit, seaandsky rentals, were wonderfully responsive to questions.This was so important because we'd rented thru other managers who were unresponsive.

Very nice place, well furnished and clean. Note: Bathrooms may need some uplifting, but nothing major. Communication with management prior to arrival and during our stay was excellent. Easy access to the beach and swimming pools.

Favorite Time of the Year

Overall we loved our week at the condo! We love coming back to the Beach Colony every year. There was a vent cover missing in the Master bedroom, which the owner/rental company was notified of! Great condo!

Nice time in Perdido Key

This was our first time staying in Perdido Key and it was great stay. The condo was a great size and the kitchen was well stocked. I liked having the covered parking for the unit since it was very hot while we were there. We are thinking about returning next year.

Everything about this trip was great!!! Communication with the owner before and during our trip was excellent! They were very responsive when we had questions! The condo was beautiful and very clean. We'll likely return to this property. Great location, very clean but appreciated that it didn't smell "chemical" clean. Staff very responsive as needed. We are all about quiet and no crowds. Found it here. There was some construction going on while we were here that created some inconveniences but easy to work around. Thank you!

Family Trip

Every thing was great overall; our first stay in Perdido Key. Only issue was the master mattress was way too soft, and the sheets/mattress pad weren’t very clean. We washed them before using, then brought our own set. But the location and beach access were tremendous!! Thanks!

Perfect Beach Condo

The condo and amenties were amazing - ease of access to pool and beach was perfect. The condo (whole building) is older and it shows in the condo (booked room), however if you can overlook it everything is just as it should be for a beach vaca. The owners are making updates to the room so it is only going to get better as time moves on. I highly recommend.

Spring break girls trip

We arrived and the elevator code that was given was incorrect but a nice gentleman that was working helped us out. We made it to the door of our room and our code did not work and it took several calls for us to reach someone to help. We did finally make it in and the view of the ocean was amazing! Condo was picked up but not deep cleaned. We found bleach spray and sprayed showers. Kitchen was fabulous size and the porch was definitely our favorite gathering spot. The next morning we headed to the beach and we were stopped because we did not have the correct bracelets. We reached out to management and they provide the correct bracelets about 1 hour later. We loved loved the slow pace at perido key and will definitely return to the area. Thanks for allowing us to stay and make memories at your condo.

Great location, Good unit, Facility showing age

Location couldn't be better. Right on the water with easy beach access. 2 grocery stores within 1.5 miles, 10 minutes from Orange Beach, AL. The facility is 25 years old and starting to look like it. One of the two elevators was down for our entire stay which made for long waits especially at peak hours. It actually was an advantage to be on the 3rd floor because we could use the stairwell. Fitness center is clean and well equipped. Plenty of utility carts to help with check-in, check-out. The unit was a good size for our family of 4. It had been cleaned and we were given plenty of bath/kitchen towels. The unit has ample dishes, sliver ware and pots/pans. Bring all your own cleaners and dishwasher detergent. Washer & drier work great. This unit looks like it sees a lot of bookings. So, if you go in with that mindset, you'll be fine. The mildew situation in the master shower is pretty rough and several kitchen tiles are held down exclusively by gravity. The "owners" keep their things in the outside storage closet, so if you bring beach chairs/toys/umbrellas, they have to stay outside your front door or in the unit. Upon arrival, go to the office in the central tower to get your parking permit before 4:00pm! Communication with property managers was excellent. Emails and text messages were answered very promptly. All in all, I feel like we experienced exactly what I'd anticipated.

Breath taking view!

Property location is awesome by having a beachfront view. Live the fact that there are 2 pools-indoor and outdoor. Love the amenities particularly the covered parking, tennis court, and grill station. The private pathway is convenient and not that far from public parking beach access to meet up with friends at the beach. The unit is roomy for 3-4 people but not 6 people as the maximum allowed. It gets crowded having 6 people in the unit. I love the kitchen equipped with essentials to do basic cooking. Love the jacuzzi in the master bedroom. The unit could use a more detail cleaning. First notice the rusty door handle as you enter the unit. Then the metal trimming on the bottom of the door is bent. The kitchen has wine glasses but the Corkscrew is missing and didn't get to drink my favorite wine during my stay. The fixture in the kitchen is not fully secured, concern that it might come off every time I turn on the faucet. The guest bath tub is stopped up and had to use the plunger to free the obstruction (gross!!!). The fixtures in the bathroom especially on the jacuzzi could be replace as it's not aesthetically maintained. Noticed some mildew in the door sills and tiles. Overall, it's 3/5 stars! The owner(s) should really pay attention to their housekeeping and maintenance crew who did poorly on maintaining and detail cleaning their unit. The best part of the unit is the view on the patio, that was priceless! Thank you for taking the time in reading my survey!
