Pet friendly holiday home in Penola

We had a good time exploring the local area and Limestone coast and visited Victoria, it made for a good base. Dogs were happy in the home and small garden area. Some of the listed appliances didn’t quite work as expected but the owner said he would look into getting them working again, ie dishwasher and air conditioner in lounge. Comfortable beds and kitchen cupboard well stocked with seasonings and the complementary offerings were a nice surprise.

On a birding trip

We wanted accommodation with private rooms for each and easy to manage living space reasonable close tp others staying in Penola. Outfitted our requirements well

Short drive to Coonwarra

Very convenient position. Short walk into Penola; short drive to Coonawarra. Appreciated the fire & the bottle of wine left for us. Matthew very responsive when we had minor issues.

Comfortable house

We enjoyed our stay, good sized house and yard for dog. Well equipped kitchen, figured out the TV and teens enjoyed themselves. Needs to figure out parking, as when it's wet no cover. Would happily stay again

Disappointing

Low standard of decor and fittings. Poorly maintained exterior and gardens. Kitchen and laundry substandard cleaning. One bathroom satisfactory, ensuite poor. Lounge and dining ok but needed to supplement wood supply for fireplace.

Good stay in Penola

Enjoyed our stay. Easy access to town and to wineries. Great to have a proper coffee machine rather than environmentally unfriendly pods.

Quite adequate

All we expected. The place needs some small bowls added to crockery inventory. Unable to work the living room a/c. Couldn’t find instructions for a/c. Windows unusually hard to open (easy to fix).

Nice Stay

We had a mini-holiday with the kids. Thank you to the hosts who setup a bbq on our request. We enjoyed using it during our stay. We would stay again.

Close access to Penola and the Coonawarra with all the amenities you need / want.

Lovely property, a short walk to the heart of Penola and a short drive to the Coonawarra wineries. Very comfortable and clean and all the amenities you need / want. With a little more wood and a secure dog fence, which I know is coming, this will enhance it even more. Thank-you and see you again!
