The hotel is really nice in general. We had a Sweet (bigger, nicer, more expensive) but noticed right off the mat, but it felt very hot (lots of windows, but also a lot of radiant heat from the sun. The air conditioner did not seem to be working very well. We asked them to check it on night number three, and they said everything was fine. But when we got back from dinner, it was very very hot. It was definitely cooler outside than inside, so we had to open all of the windows to let a little cool air come in, and threw the blanket on the ground and used only a sheet. It was still super hot all night, and loud as well because of surrounding noises. We hardly slept at all.

We had a great stay at Dorma Saldanha! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. For a 3-star hotel, it had everything you could ask for and was more than enough for a comfortable stay in Lisbon.
The room was well-maintained, and the overall experience was exactly what we were looking for. Great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Lisbon!

"The room I stayed in had bugs and I was bitten badly. The towels were grey, no dish for the soap they provide, low water pressure for your shower, only one layer of curtain, unfriendly staff, no good night service, ocean view blocked by daily parked cruises. Overall this is not a five star experience. ..."
