"We enjoyed having the extra space compared to having a hotel room. The place looked like the pictures but unfortunately the smell of cleanser was overwhelming for the entire stay. And for all that smell, the floors had been unwashed for quite some time. My husband's feet would be black in mere minutes after walking around barefoot and it took serious scrubbing to get them clean. The place also lacked some small touches such as tissues and clocks on the wall. Could use some more basic amenities. Having said that, it was located in a quiet area and felt safe and was an attractive place to stay. The potential is certainly there for higher rating."

"We had to wait multiple times to speak to someone at the front desk. I don't know if they were understaffed, but it felt empty. The hotel and our room was very warm when we checked in. The cleanliness of our room seemed appropriate, but the next day there was a huge cockroach in the room. For some reason, I wasn't surprised due to warmth of the hotel. We only stayed for one night, so we were checking out when we saw the roach. We've stayed at this location a few years ago without issues, but we will not return here next time we are in town."
