"Very pleased with our stay here. Rooms are immaculate, quiet and smell amazing. Breakfast is in the restaurant and has eggs, bagels, muffins, fruit and other things ready to serve plus you can order a thick waffle from the kitchen. Dining area and nightclub are very reminiscent of 1950's and Italian themed. Location isn't far from some shopping and very close to Hwy 101. "

"Joe was very helpful yet circumspect. He lives on the property where his guest cottage is located, but did not impose at ALL on our privacy. We didn’t even see him, yet he promptly responded on the Vbro app to any question we had. His guest cottage is charming, very clean & very private. We expected a long TO DO list before we checked out, but instead we learned that almost *nothing* was expected of us except for turning down the heat! He didn’t even ask that we take the sheets off the bed (or remove garbage & recycling)! We didn’t run the dishwasher because we didn’t use it. Joe is an A host. We loved that all cleaning issues were covered, just as they are in a hotel. We’d definitely book with Joe again! "

"The host was very welcoming and responsive. The view from the living room overlooking the pool, jacuzzi, palm trees, canal, sailboats, and hillsides was very peaceful. The house had unique and fun decor while still feeling comfortable and homey. The sauna was also nice to enjoy. "

"Very poor experience. Will not stay here again. Stay away. Here are the main issues:1) Filthy carpets: I've included pictures of the disgusting large yellow stains on the carpets of the bedroom that they tried unsuccessfully to hide under a cheap throw rug. 2) Odd furniture placement: A Pelaton in the main room and a half a couch in front of the sliding door to the outside made the space feel cramped. 3) Outside furniture: Sadly, there are 3 mini-sized metal folding chairs around a cheap table and that's it for outdoor seating. The adjoining house has nice outdoor furniture (pictured in the ad), but we were told not to use any furniture from that part of the house. I've included pictures of the 3-chair outdoor setup.4) Pay to use hot tub: There was a 50 cost to use the hot tub. Every other property I've been to does not charge extra for the use of a hot tub. Given the high cost of this rental, that should be included.5) Nearly empty propane tank: Not a huge issue, but I did have to call the owner to see if there was a backup propane tank somewhere when I realized the one they left me was nearly empty. This should have been full on arrival and delayed our dinner.6) TV didn't work: Called owner and they told me to call the Satellite company to fix it! Of course, the Satellite company declined because I'M NOT THE OWNER!7) Dinner table to big for kitchen: leaves very little room to move around in kitchen."
