The room was in need of updating - peeling paint around doors etc - the front desk is only manned from 9 - 5 - the neighbourhood did not feel very safe - however it was easy to get to transit, walk to botanical gardens and the opera house

Best hotel we have stayed in! It ticked all the boxes. We were so happy with it! Spacious family friendly apartments, which were clean, beautifully decorated, and staff were exceptional. The roof top bar and pool was a hidden gem. We were even shown around the day spa and treatment rooms which are insanely awesome. Can’t rate more highly. Well done Astina Hotel!

Room was fine, but lacking in a few items. Things like the dish sponge weren’t new or clean. I had to wash all of the dishes as a few had leftover food on them. No basics like salt and pepper, shampoo or conditioner etc. Not enough towels for the length of our stay.
Pool was lovely and had a great view.
Check-in was a bit inconvenient and confusing, but this was mainly because the email from the property went to my spam inbox, so I wasn’t aware I had to give them prior notice of my arrival time.
