Welcome to Scenic Unit 1, a-one-of-a-kind spacious 3,000 sq ft 5 bedroom with an optional 6th bedroom 3.5 bathroom private retreat located in the very heart of Pass Christian. This grand antebellum property blends historic elegance with modern comforts, offering stunning beach views, refined design, and unbeatable walkability.

Set directly across from the beach and just one block in either direction from restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, boutiques, and more, Scenic Unit 1 places you at the center of everything this vibrant coastal town has to offer.

Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a retreat, or a special celebration, this beautifully designed space offers both comfort and convenience with plenty of room to relax, connect, and explore.

The Space

Scenic Unit 1 is a completely private unit & a beautiful historic property. Everything up the stairs is yours—including a private balcony, a rear porch, and beautifully maintained interiors. Spacious rooms, open floor plan, and coastal views blend effortlessly with timeless Southern charm.

The condition of this home did not match the VRBO listing or our expectations. Online pictures deceptively misrepresent the condition of the property. The house smells strongly of animal urine. There are also signs of prolonged moisture or water issues upstairs. Box fans were running full speed in every room, I assume to help with this water/moisture problem. The property listing says it has AC but the window units in two of the upstairs bedrooms were not able to keep the area cool - unbearable during the day and hard to sleep at night. Window units were conveniently not shown in any of the property photos. If it has central heating and air, it was not working. I cannot stress this enough; the property was not clean. Walking around barefoot would discolor the bottom of your feet. Showers had not been cleaned and had grime on the floor and hair on the walls. Towels smelled like cigarette smoke. Roaches and spiders around the house. Roaches found in the toilet upstairs. Kitchen was poorly stocked - very few cups and now wine glasses. Property was not as advertised and made for a miserable experience. Conditions significantly impacted our experience and made the property unfit for a comfortable stay. We advise future guests to find another place to stay in Pass Christiane. When I called the property host to discuss conditions of the property, she was unprofessional and rude. She had no interest in receiving feedback, told me it was my problem and hung up on me.

It was an absolute delight staying at this vacation rental! We were so pleased with how clean everything was upon arrival – it made us feel right at home. Our interactions with the host were fantastic; she was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Slightly delayed to respond a time or 2 but overall wonderful! One of our favorite things was spending time in the outdoor area. The turf grass was a great touch, and the fire pits were a real treat in the evenings. With a large lot, there was plenty of room for our kids to run around and burn off some energy, which was a huge plus for our family. This rental was absolutely perfect for us, and we can't wait to book another stay!

Staying at this stunning antebellum home was truly a memorable experience. The property is absolutely beautiful—steeped in history, yet impeccably maintained and thoughtfully updated with all the comforts of modern living. There’s something incredibly special about waking up in a place with such rich character, surrounded by timeless architecture, and elegant furnishings. It’s rare to find a historic home in such pristine condition, and even rarer to be able to stay in one.The home is spacious and well laid out, offering five large bedrooms and comfortably sleeping up to 12 people, which made it perfect for our group. We didn’t find out u til after we booked but there’s even an option to add an additional private, locked-off space that increases the sleeping capacity to 16—ideal for large families or multiple couples traveling together! I wish we would have known on advance so we could have booked it!! The outdoor amenities are just as impressive. We loved sipping coffee on the porch in the mornings and relaxing outside in the evenings. The grounds are peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offer charming spots to unwind, dine, or just take in the surroundings. It’s the perfect blend of old Southern charm and luxurious comfort.The location is also hard to beat—conveniently situated within walking distance to excellent restaurants, a cozy coffee shop, and a nail/hair salon. Being directly across from the beach was the cherry on top

We were very excited to stay at this beautiful home. The location was perfect! Unfortunately we discovered ants and termites all over the kitchen when we arrived. The host said she would send an exterminator but ended up only dropping off a can of bug spray the next day. There was no hair dryer as listed and only one hand towel for my family of 6. When I contacted the host, she originally advised us to use the provided paper towels during our stay, but later dropped of a hair dryer and two towels with the bug spray. I wish she had communicated this, because my husband went to Walmart prior to this to get the supplies we needed. The house was not very clean. I don’t think the master bath was cleaned at all before our stay. There was hair and dried soap all over the tub. Also, the ceiling in the living room leaked water when the guest bath was used. It looks like this has been a problem for a while. This could be a GREAT VRBO, but it seems the host does not care to put in much effort to make guests’ stay comfortable.

The location is prime, the property is very clean, and this place is by far one of the nicest places I have stayed. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

My family and I were looking for someplace relaxing to decompress from the holiday hustle and also someplace our teenage boys would enjoy for NYE. This condo was absolutely perfect! It’s centrally located and only a block or so away from the beach and marina. There are some amazing restaurants and boutiques that are also just a few steps away. The unit is beautifully appointed - Refined and sophisticated! Whomever designed/decorated the condo definitely has an eye for detail and a flair for understated elegance. Are only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer but now we have a reason to go back!

Fantastic stay at this beautiful property! Location was perfect being right in the heart of downtown Pass Christian with excellent view of the Gulf. Had a warm and cozy stay and property was very clean. Will be back soon!
