The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, Los Angeles

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Our room had a great view, and I love the size of the hotel and the many floors. The customer service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, which really helped make up for some of the concerns with the property. The hotel itself is definitely showing its age and could use some updating. Areas such as the elevators, flooring, bathroom vanity, and other parts of the room and hotel are starting to look worn and outdated. Some renovations would make a big difference. My biggest disappointment was the cost of breakfast at the café. Breakfast for two people was $112, with one person having the buffet and the other only having a bowl of oatmeal and coffee. I felt this was extremely expensive, especially for a hotel breakfast. Overall, the wonderful customer service, great view, and atmosphere made our stay enjoyable, but updating the property and offering more reasonable breakfast prices would greatly improve the overall guest experience."

"I really like staying here, location is awesome and the price is right. The hotel is nice, clean and I like that they updated the gym. I just wish they would add another yoga mat or 2. Also, they should mark where towels go, otherwise people drop them in the garbage."
