"Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. "We had a fantastic week staying in a traditional house, renovated to a high standard and equipped with all mod cons. Easy access by car to Limoges. This is a lovely part of France for touring and taking in the gorgeous countryside."

"Quietly located place in the forest at 5 km from major roads. Deer come to the garden in the evening. All facilities available even android TV on which you can cast movies and TV. Good starting place for walks. From 00:00 also very good for night photography. Well received and got a lot of information about the region and surroundings. "We really enjoyed being based at this lovely accommodation to explore the region. It was lovely to come back to the property after a day spent walking and enjoying local French cuisine. It is a peaceful place ideal for relaxing with a cold beer and a nice glass of wine on the patio. "This hotel offers really good qualities for the price. Of course, since it is facing the train station, you have beautiful views of this superbe building, but also the whistles of trains. If very sensitive to that noise, be sure to have ear plugs and it is not a problem. I was OK and would come again to this hotel. The service was excellent, the restaurant also."

"we stay here twice a year, once on our way down to South of France and then on our return. We take our dogs with us, there is a lake with a path leading around it, couple of laps and doggies happy. Swimming pool, son is happy. Parking, bar and restaurant Mum and Dad happy!! We try to get there early, have an early supper, food good, even with a fussy 11 year old. Breakfast also good, best to have either early pre 8 am or later 9.30 ish. Great hotel."
