Hidden Log Cabin Deep in Elk Country -Grand Canyon


Our cabin was built with our own hands, every log was laid and chinked with love. It sits on a 10 acre parcel, and the national forest is our backyard. Big windows to see the beautiful ponderosa pine forest, with elk and deer passing by. Spacious living area, with a fully equipped kitchen. You cannot see our neighbors, for they are all acres away. If you want a glamorous campsite, then our place is for you. Lots of trails for hiking, biking. skiing and your OHV's. We also have central cooling and heating for your convenience and Starlink WIFI! Nearest amenities are 10 miles away. We are south of the Grand Canyon, in Parks, Az. Relax after a long hike in our large Jacuzzi!

Great cabin in the mountains

Beautiful cabin and wilderness surrounding. The hot tub was awesome to sit back and enjoy the stars from the back deck.

Amazing slice of peaceful paradise

We have spent the last month touring AZ & CA and have stayed in some fabulous properties, but when we walked through the front door of Veronica's home the reaction was just ‘wow’ Everything you could possibly want or need in a beautiful location. If I’m ever back in the Parks area this would be our #1 choice of place to stay

Grand Canyon vacation

everything was perfect during our stay, the cabin was spotless the hot tub was wonderful and cabin was located in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The only drawback was the drive to the canyon was a little longer than I expected but the beautiful scenery made the time pass quickly.

Cabin getaway

Rented this cabin for husband’s 60th birthday as he loves being in the woods. The cabin was great and even had a bottle of wine and chocolates upon entering. Went on a few hikes, saw a couple of deer and a whole herd of elks. Loved that it’s also dog friendly. Thank you for offering your wonderful cabin for others to enjoy!

Lovely secluded cabin

The owners were great from booking to leaving. Easy to communicate with, even helped us find a plug kit when we got a flat tire. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon so the privacy of location was great but was a bit of drive from nearby things. Overall we didn’t want to leave

Log cabin near Parks Arizona

This rustic cabin in the woods was perfect for us, for 2-couples, and a 15-mth old baby, puppy, and me grandpa. We visited several of the hostess's suggested sites. The amenities were just right. TV w/ several movie channels, Wi-Fi good, hot tub nice, beds comfortable, cozy homey feeling. We didn't have time, but there was also cornhole set, and a nice firepit with lots of wood. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views

The Cabin is nice. The porches front and back are great to relax with a cup of coffee or just reading a book. Plenty of room for a family of 5. There were only 2 issues it would be nice if the shower liners were replaced and up grade of the TV in the master bedroom. Overall the views were best part of the cabin. We hope to rent again.

Better that we expected

The cabin was perfect, with solid logs in and out, no visible homes nearby, and beautiful forest views from the front and back porch. We shared the place with another couple and we were all very comfortable with the bedroom separation. During "TV time" we could have used another couch or chair, we ended up bringing in a swivel one from the back porch. The location was perfect for long walks and a friend with flagstaffebiketours dot com, company brought bikes over and we went for a wonderful 10-mile ride on the forest road

Secluded Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this secluded, sweet cabin. The space was cozy and spacious, and the back deck was a relaxing place to unwind. This is a ways out from the 40 interstate, so just make sure you have everything you could possibly need. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. There were some cobwebs inside the cabin along the corners and pine on the walls, which scared our kids a little thinking they were spider webs - other than that the property was very clean. Had everything we could want for a quiet retreat away from city life. Would definitely recommend for time away with your family!

Absolutely Lovely!

Thank you so much much for allowing us to stay at such a special place! The cabin is absolute perfection. The photos truly don't do it justice. It's such a warm and inviting space, we truly felt right at home. It had everything we needed, and more. We couldn't get over the beautiful tall pines, the rain added to such an already-beautiful environment. We saw cows, deer and a coyote in the distance. Our toddler and golden retriever were in their absolute glory. Thank you again for letting us book last minute. We appreciate your kindness!

Winter Wonderland

We absolutely loved this cabin, it was exactly what we wanted to escape to the forest for a few days. Veronica is a great host and gave us tons of advice and tips for exploring the area. We woke up on our last day with six inches of fresh powder everywhere, a true winter wonderland for the kids (and adults) to play. Big windows with big views, plenty of space throughout the cabin and the location was awesome for heading into Williams for the Polar Express train ride. If you are looking for a cabin secluded in the forest from traffic and the hustle and bustle of the city, look no further. We can't wait to book again sometime. Celebrating Graduations🎉

Took my three children on what might be our final trip together as everyone starts their own lives and careers. My oldest daughter graduated from college, and my twins graduated high school… Three graduations in a week! We had initially planned to go to Disney… Changed our minds on that! My kiddos had never seen the Grand Canyon, and we all like the great outdoors. This lovely cabin in the woods was a relaxing retreat, and put us relatively close to all the activities in which we took part: visiting the beautiful Grand Canyon, white water rafting, historical Williams, etc. Veronica was amazing to deal with! If my travels take me this way again, I definitely will return to this property. Being surrounded by nature and the beautiful Ponderosa Pines, and having the comfort of this lovely cabin was truly a peaceful getaway!! Thank you!

Our stay in this beautiful cabin was amazing. We arrived after dark but although definitely "hidden" we had zero issues locating the cabin with GPS. The host had left a beautiful note with chocolate and wine. The kids loved their rooms and were excited to pick out beds. The bed in the master was incredibly comfortable after our 11 hour drive. The cabinets in the kitchen had all the little things we forgot to pack! Appeared to be a "take a penny, leave a penny" type situation. We left sugar! 😍 We spent our first day exploring the area, saw Bearizona.... very cool! Day 2 it snowed and the entire property looked like a winter wonderland. Kiddos had a snowball fight and built igloos while we watched from the enormous hot tub. We spent the day at the grand canyon and had dinner in Williams. Our last day we just hung out at the cabin and reconnected as a big busy family. We built a puzzle and watched movies. Veronica, our host, is amazing. She communicated with us the entire trip and was easy to get ahold of when needed. We will definitely be back to visit!
