It was a nice hotel but what they don’t tell you is the a/c thermostat is locked at 33 degrees Celsius. We called down repeatedly for them to lower the air conditioner and they would oblige but only for about thirty minutes then back to 33 ugh!!! The housekeeping is horrible, trash left in room from previous guests and dust everywhere.

Good hotel - very quirky
The staff were very very kind when I had my wallet stolen on the Metro (which is now dangerous particularly around Gare Du Nord). We had to ask for another room because we were offered one without any wardrobe but otherwise it was good. he finishing touches to the rooms are great fun event though they are small.

Close to transit and excellent customer service
Amazing service. Also was very helpful with any information we were curious about. About 5 min walk from the bus or train to go anywhere. Very great location. Very clean rooms and quiet hotel on quiet nice street Great for the price.

The boutique hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, where also has an easy access to the public transportation system, e.g., Metro, in Paris, bars/restaurants, and a couple of grocery stores...recommend it as a hotel option for any travelers in Paris, especially for those who enjoy the environment of montmartre paris

5 Days trip in Paris
Overall is okay. Room size is decent but the toilet and the bathroom which was kind of odd setup. Toilet was by the front of the room and the bath sink was on the opposite side of the room. Breakfast is the same everyday, not much choices so it get bored after the second day. Hotel was very close to Metro so it was easy to go anywhere in Paris which is the plus for the location. A lot restaurant and pastry shop close by.

Lights on the ceiling, lights on the floor. Flashing lights. It took 15 minutes to turn them all off. No where to put your bags or hang anything. A good idea run amok. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Oh, and if you are a single woman, you may want to make sure that your room is not on the ground floor. The window opens right onto the street.

Skip this hotel. Not clean, some staff rude
While most hotel staff was very polite, there was one very, very rude person at the desk. He was not only rude but openly aggressive. Not a good feeling when you're traveling alone and don't feel safe and comfortable in your own hotel! I see it as not only his fault but also the management's fault who failed to properly train their personnel. He wouldn't give me his name but to help the management identify him: he was on duty on Nov 4, at around 9 or 10 pm, black, not tall (there was another black guy, skinny and taller; he was very nice, polite and professional!). The hotel is nicely designed, and I had a good initial impression. But later on I noticed that it wasn't very clean (see pic). It was kind of hard to see in the dim light but when I turned on my flashlight I saw that the sheets weren't clean at all. So, pick another hotel. There are plenty of other options.

Nice hotel with so much potential. The decor was stunning. Good location - close to metro. However, the room was not cleaned considering the price per night. The carpet was black so you could see every bit of dirt. The bed cove was just thrown on and no toiletries. Really disappointing on my finance's first visit to Paris. Disappointing hotel amenities.

The bed was very comfortable and the employees were very helpful. We were in a suite which also had a huge bathroom and hot tub that we used every single night. This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train and in a nice neighborhood to just walk around in. Several bakeries and cafes within a few minutes walk and two small grocers. I really wish all the hotels I stay in were as great as this one!

Leaked room and transferred
As I arrived for check in I was told my room had a leak and I was being transferred. Not a great start. In the end I was transferred to the 3* comfort inn down the road. Was not happy and expected more for the inconvenience.

Affordable hotel if you are okay with walking
Hotel has a quirky theme to each room, which is fun. Having the toilet and sink in different rooms was less fun. You aren’t close to a ton, but the metro is close by, as are several grocery stores, a bakery, and several small restaurants.

Nice stylish boutique hotel
I stayed in Paris one night for business. The hotel has a nice stylish design and is clean. But the rooms are small with a small desk and uncomfortable chair. It seemed to be more of a stylish 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel.

Nice hotel but requires €250 deposit on arrival!
Overall this is a nice, unique hotel in a lively area of Paris. The staff were friendly and helped where they could. The room was awesome and very comfortable. HOWEVER, beware - you are required to pay a €250.00 deposit on arrival. This was not communicated to us before we travel and was somewhat of a shock. We overheard over guests checking in and again they had not previously been informed of this extra cost. The local area has some fantastic cafes and shops to visit as well as the Sacre Coeur church. The metro station is only a few minutes walk away so it is very easy to get into the city centre.

Staff were very friendly, rooms were amazing. We didn’t have a coffee machine as advertised and the rooms definitely aren’t sound proofed, didn’t hear external noise but the maid cupboard was next to our room and we heard them every morning. These were both minor issues everything else about the hotel makes up for it. The location is good only a few minutes from the metro and as everything is so spaced out in Paris you would need to use it wherever you stayed

An average stay in Paris
The hotel itself is really nice, I wondered why it was so cheap for the price but when you get there you will understand. It is in the middle of nowhere and walking distance to none of the sites. Yes the metro is nearby but most french are considerably unhelpful apart from 1 gentleman at the metro station. We trid to walk one day to the Galleries De Lafayette and walked through what resembled NYC bronx. Taxi drivers are hopeless always wanting an address for the hotel - pretty sure if this was Edinburgh or Glasgow our taxi drivers would know exactly where the hotel was. I never had breakfast any morning however my boyfriend did and said it was NOT worth the money and there was barely any hot food. He also said the 2 of us could have eaten at it and nobody would have noticed as there was no staff around. This was a surprise for my boyfriends 30th and I had requested balloons and banners in the room for an additional cost obviously however there was nothing there when we opened the door. Mediocre hotel - staff at reception are pleasant enough though and it is clean with large rooms ( the suites anyway)

Dear Zara, I am very sorry to read your disappointement about your stay at Déclic. You have an helpful staff at the front desk to guide you or suggest you directions or shopping centers in Paris. The line 12, 1 minute walk from the hotel is direct to the City center in 10 minutes (Galeries Lafayettes, Place de La Concorde, Gare st Lazare). The breakfast is served from 7 am to 10:30 am (11:30 am on saturday and sunday) and we suggest you a hot and cold buffet (American Breakfast). We probably did not have the information about balloons ans banners, actually we can suggest you macarons, roses petals, little message in the room for extra charge (price depends on offer). I just want to tell you that customer service is very important to us. We hope to see you again. Best regards
