The space was small, but very comfortable and in an excellent, walkable location with transit very nearby. We appreciated having a kitchen and laundry in the apartment. The apartment is above a bar/cafe, but we weren’t bothered and really enjoyed the liveliness and vibrancy of the neighborhood!

The apartment’s location is perfect—close to everything, with nearby nightlife, yet still safe. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, open almost any time. The apartment itself is in excellent condition: spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The check-in instructions were clear, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay feel even warmer.

Great location, convenient to walk to many famous attractions. A lot of good restaurants nearby, but the only downside is that on weekend, the restaurant right below the property can get very loud until 2am. Also beware that the hot water tank may stop working randomly and you will be left without hot water unless you restart the tank. The bed can also get very hot due to the polyester sheet they use, so I think it's actually more comfortable during summer with the AC on than during winter with the heater on.

Superb location. Walkable and yet not throngs of tourists - felt authentic. Excellent communication from the apart-hotel team. It’s located over a lively brasserie, so there is some noise - but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay.

This is a clean hotel in a great location. The room itself is small, but that is not unexpected for Paris. The unit is furnished quite practically. The sofa bed is surprisingly comfortable. The hotel is close to metro stops, restaurants, grocery stores and even shopping, you won't find a more convenient location. The bathroom is very small though, and the shower stall is tiny by North American standards. Nonetheless it was adequate and I have no issue putting up with a small bathroom in order to get a great hotel location.

Its location is close to a variety of cafe, bistro, boulangerie patisserie, bars, restaurants, shopping and convenient grocery stores. It is also close to Metro and bus locations. Walking distance to Louvre, River Seine, National Library and many sightseeing places. Owner and his staff, very friendly and easy to communicate by Whatsapp, thoughtfully provided us a small box of almond chocolates, a city guide, and a Tote bag. Suite 3A worked well for three of us. It does not have AC and no elevator. Weather in late May in Paris -- no AC needed. The party noises late at night was fine with us as well.

Residence Louvre is a great property close to the Louvre, the Latin Quarter and has great little cafes right outside the apartment building. It was very clean and even though its tiny 4 adults stayed there easily and the pullout couch was actually very comfortable. The shower water was always - not an easy feat with 4 adults showering. The communication and actual property mamager to meet uswhen we arrived was very appreciated. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The location is very convenient to shops and transportation. The apartment is above restaurants and it gets noisy until after midnight. The living spaces are very tight. The shower is the smaller than you can imagine.

Would not recommend this property for summer as there is no A/C or Mini-Split to keep guests cool. Opening the window means letting in the noise from the restaurant right below, along with cigarette smells, with no guarantee of a breeze. Our family of 4 found it far too tight to squeeze by each other in the narrow strip that connected the bedroom, restroom, kitchen sink, laundry closet, AND front door.

Nice, clean and cozy. 5 mins walk to Louvre and Seine. Plenty of Cafe and small cute restaurants and markets around. Feel very safe and enjoyable, eating and walking around into midnight. The room is on the small side, stairs are quite narrow and steep, probably typical for Paris. Moving large luggage up and down was quite some challenges. Communication was very good and prompt.

The pictures for the property listing were misleading, since they made the rental look bigger. Please note that the property is petite in size and one would benefit from inquiring about square footage/considering ones personal need for space. Additionally, the listing was misleading in the follow ways: the place did not have a dryer (only a washer was available) and there is no front lobby. I found the place to be over-priced for what it had to offer. ***** I am rating the place as average, because the property staff did a great job of communicating with us and they were nice upon arrival. Additionally, the area in which the property is located is safe and it is close to stores/restaurants.

Great Apartment in Heart of Paris

I stayed with my wife and adult son on our first trip to Paris. We really enjoyed the apartment and it worked well for us. Great location, clean, nice amenities, great communication. We would definitely stay here again. But a few things to mention for those considering. This is an apartment not a hotel so no lobby or concierge. Edgar and his team were great on communicating so we had no issues. Stairs are narrow and steep We were thankfully only one flight up. It is a small apartment, tight for 3 adults with the couch bed out. We unpacked our luggage into the closets to keep the floor space clear. Bathroom is tiny, we made use of the sink in the kitchen area to help avoid congestion. Bedroom bed was cozy. Maybe a US full size, certainly smaller than a US queen. Pull out couch bed was larger and comfortable. The bedroom was a bit too warm for us which is concerning since it was December and the radiator heat was off. We had to leave the bedroom door open to keep it cool since we like to sleep in cold. I could imagine summer and no AC could be difficult. We did experience some minor issues with the bar patron noise outside until around midnight . We were again surprised considering we were there mid week and it was cold outside. A closed window and the portable fans helped mask it and we slept fine. But a summer weekend with widows open could be a different situation. There is also an occasional vibration from the nearby subway, but it was not a issue

"The photos are very well done, but the space was much smaller than I imagined. In the bedroom, the bed takes up the entire room, leaving no space to walk around it. The bathroom is also tiny; you have to be extremely careful not to bump into the shower controls with your body while washing, as you can easily get burned—a difficult task given how cramped it is. I wouldn't recommend it for four people; two guests might have a better experience. The unit is well-equipped with great amenities (laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, etc.), and the linens are high quality. However, the apartment and the building need some 'TLC.' The stairs, walls, and furniture show significant wear and tear. The location is excellent, safe, and picturesque. I’d summarize the experience as staying in a motorhome parked in the best possible location."
