We were 3 nights in Villino Eleonora. Everything was VERY fine. The sorroundings, the house and the garden are beautiful. Authenticity with nice touches

Kind helpful family, private buildings away from main home with garden and terrace for the single room (I had) and with lush local flora, quality fittings in rooms and traditional decor. Incredible breakfast. You can walk to Tropea in 15 mins or get the train (10 mins from the BnB). Off-road place to park car if necessary.

Absolutely a great place, quiet, touch away from Tropea city proper ( a car is a must), pleasant garden, secluded. Own parking lot. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Very clean. Alessandro, the owner, very pleasant, knowledgeable and always available.

This is THE best B&B i’ve ever stayed at. Alessandro and Cinzia really looked after me - going above and beyond to make me feel safe, welcome and at home. I had a different delicious breakfast prepared every morning and brought to me on my patio. Alessandro regularly checked in on me, gave me advice on places to go and eat to help plan my itinerary for my trip. The area is beautiful - it’s a 10 minute walk to Michelino beach and a 30 minute walk to tropea - which are both voted the most beautiful beaches in Italy. The train station is a short walk away - I recommend seeing Scilla and Pizzo. The area is very safe and gated, I was travelling alone and had no worries. I even got a lift to the station as my bag was so heavy. I hope to come back soon!

Un piacevole soggiorno

Il Villino Eleonora è posizionato in una location strategica e ben collegata alla spiaggia di Tropea (15 minuti a piedi) e ad altre bellissime spiagge della costa calabrese (es. Spiaggia di Michelino), che offrono un mare cristallino. L'accoglienza di Alessandro è stata molto positiva; una persona garbata, cordiale e assolutamente disponibile. La colazione, home made, è variegata e genuina (un plauso particolare alla spremuta e alle marmellate). Il Villino è molto carino, ha davvero tanto potenziale che può essere sviluppato ulteriormente. Ogni stanza ha un suo ingresso e piccolo spazio sul giardino per rilassarsi. Le stanze sono semplici, ma hanno tutto ciò che serve per godere di un soggiorno confortevole. E' presente anche un parcheggio di fronte al villino, ed esclusivamente rivolto ai clienti, comodo e sicuro.

A very special place.

Alessandro and his entire family were most gracious hosts. When he learned I was having a problem back in the US he immediately drove me to a store where I could send a fax to hopefully straighten things out. He recommended an excellent restaurant where we ate all three nights of our stay. The breakfasts at his Villino were excellent with fresh fruits and a new surprise every morning. Bring your appetite! The room was very comfortable and the gardens and patio were very relaxing. We loved our stay.

Lovely cottage style near Tropea

Lovely property with a nice tendered garden. Private patio where breakfast is served directly to you. Room is a little small but comfy. Short walk to Tropea - very nice town. Also eateries nearby. Near train track but not noisy enough to disturb me.

Fantastic Stay!

Loved our one night stay here! Lovely family. Room was quiet and clean. The garden is really lovely. Super close to town and restaurants. Parking is across the street. Breakfast was our favorite. Absolutely wonderful food, brought to the room to eat out on the patio. I will definitely stay again when in Tropea.

Location - 2 km east of tropea - is convenient for exploring tropea and avoiding p-problem. Rooms are in garden next to classical villa, and view to sea and tropea town. Service is very friendly, breakfast excellent and locally imaginative. Walking distance to good local restaurant, and nearby quite exclusive beach. Pleasant in march - must be wonderful in summer !

Lovely small B&B close to Tropea.

We spent a week in this lovely, family run B&B in Parghelia, 2km from Tropea. The family were very kind, friendly and welcoming and offered us lifts to Tropea and the beach. Parghelia is a small village with a couple of beautiful unspoiled beaches within walking distance, but down many steps, and a bigger and a more commercial beach further away with sunbeds, umbrellas, boats and pedalos. There is a train which runs along the coast from Lamezia to Rosano, stopping at all the towns along the route, including Parghelia, but I would hire a car if I went again as it would be easier to get around and see more of the area. Car hire is available in the village. There are a few restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance of the B&B, but we had to go to Tropea for a greater choice. We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful and relatively undiscovered (by the British) part of Italy and I would certainly return.

Bodde 3 dager på Villino. Hadde et fantastisk opphold. Hotellverten var meget hyggelig og det ble servert frokost på rommet hver morgen.Til denne prisen for du virkelig valuta for pengene. Hotellet ligger 3 km fra sentrum og det tar ca 20 min å gå ned til hovedstranden.

Villa Eleonora Parghelia Tropea

I cannot fault the B&B itself in any way.They go out of there way to make everything as good as is possible.One of the lovely things about this place is that your room is situated in the garden and you have your own private terrace from which breakfast is also served.Breakfast is superb. The down side is nothing to do with the B&B itself as they have no control over the fact that the neighbours have dogs which are left out in the garden all night and which bark incessantly leaving you with a near on impossible nights sleep.The B&B also has a main road and railway line between it and the sea again meaning a level of noise.
