My stay here was great! The Check in process was smooth and easy, the room was clean and very comfortable...the only issues that was encountered at the time were the living room air-conditioning and the broken counter top stove which were both resolved in a timely manner. The receptionist Mr ferley was very pleasant, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He made the stay even more comfortable with his vast wealth of knowledge, information and service. Coming all the way from Trinidad and Tobago🇹🇹 (Tobago to be more specific) I must say I will highly recommend EMPIRE to my trinibago people and anybody else..

Van 19 t/m 24 mei verbleven wij in de Empire Apartments. Over het algemeen een prettig verblijf, vooral dankzij de geweldige jacuzzi, heerlijk ontspannen. Verder viel de rust op, geen last van lawaai, goed geslapen, appartement was schoon. Niets mis mee. Er waren wel een paar kleine minpunten, maar die vielen ons persoonlijk reuze mee. We noemen ze toch voor de volledigheid, omdat een volgende gast er misschien meer aan stoort: De fruitschaal had een pootje kapot, dus die stond scheef. De prullenbak had een deksel dat leek afgebroken. Op het slaapkamerplafond zaten plakkertjes (resten van oude versiering). Oogt niet heel netjes, maar wij sliepen er prima onder. De grootste tegenvaller was de communicatie met de eigenaar. Ik wilde in eerste instantie direct bij de eigenaar boeken, maar dat ging stroef: late reacties, en op het moment dat ik wilde afronden, bleef het helemaal stil. Uiteindelijk maar via dit platform geboekt, in de veronderstelling dat we verder geen contact meer zouden nodig hebben. Nu wacht ik na het verblijf weer op

I reserved a 2 bedroom apartment online and when I arrived at the property they booked two two bedroom apartments. I ended up paying more than I budgeted for and they took half of the price for canceling the extra apartment that was accidentally booked. I was disappointed because this is my first time visiting Suriname and this experience didn’t make it a pleasant first impression. Regardless the stay was good the facilities are great. The location is nice and the staff are friendly. I wish we didn’t have that minor hiccup at the beginning with the bookings.
