「New Aegli is my favorite place to stay on Poros island. It is a quick 1 hour trip on the ferry from Athens. In September, the Askeli beach is perfect for swimming—the water is warm, and I usually do a 1500 meter swim every day that I’m at New Aegli. The restaurant food is great — I always sign up for daily breakfast. Great food selection, delicious. And I generally have dinner there too!」

Beds are quite hard, furniture could use an update, and a few minor amenities would be a bonus (dish washing towels, washing machine tabs, utensils). Interior was clean, just outdated. Kids loved the cats, and I have been asked to rename: Calico = Filepé (loves cuddles) Older Calico = Shortie Gray Tabby = Nina & Lina (bigger) Tabby with white = Georgie Skiddish dark cat = Shadow Overall great time and would recommend.」

「Booked for 10 days, good price. Apartment was nice & bedding, towels changed every day. Great view from balcony. 10mins walk to nearest beach. Be mindful to get to the apartments you have to walk up a very steep hill or 100-170 steps depending on which route you take & if you are on the top apartments it’s another 60 steps! Will keep you fit though if you don’t mind that!」

「Clean room, staff was great, they have a café upstairs, really nice terrace on the second floor and the third floor with beautiful views. And you can have drinks up there and just lounge out. I would recommend bringing mosquito or bug spray when walking around outside. ( noticed that a lot around the island). AC in the room blows cold! Great value and great stay overall.」

「Lovely villa with sea views and an amazing infinity pool with big comfy sun loungers. The manager & staff were friendly & helpful. You need a car, it’s a perfect location for going to Hydra for the day.」

「中心地から徒歩で5分ほど離れた立地の良いホテル。部屋がとっても過ごしやす買ったです。２階のシービューの部屋が絶対おすすめ。夕日は東向きなので見れません。簡易キッチンもあり水回りもよくWIFIもちゃんとあり、レセプションのワシリキさんも融通を聞かせたサービスを行ってくれる親切な方でした。朝食は別料金で７．５ユーロ。ホテルではなく、ビーチ沿いにあるレストランでコンチネンタルブレックファーストでした。」

「Avevo prenotato una camera tripla, invece mi hanno dato un appartamento per 3 persone perfetto, ben arredato, spazioso e completo di tutto. Bottiglia d'acqua in frigorifero appena arrivati, cambio lenzuola e asciugamani ogni 2 giorni, non mancava nulla. Tre minuti a piedi da tutto, supermercato , taverna migliore dell'isola e negozi. Bravi!」

「Surely not a 4 star hotel? Very dated, bleak looking rooms. The blow up bed I use when camping in my tent is more comfortable than the beds at this hotel.」

「We booked a superior twin room with a spa bath, for a bit of luxury; I am 65, my friend 69. We arrived early & our room was ready but we gad a double bed, not twin as specified. The manager then produced a trundle bed & considered it resolved. Itvwas very uncomfortable & I barely slept for the 2 night stay. Fittings & fixtures are if poor quality & appear to be badly maintained (eg the light switch fell off as I was leaving the room) there was no slip mat in the bath, no full length mirror, ...

「Near to the beach. Good air-conditioning. Small balcony. Kettle. Fridge. Huge bed. Shower small. Plastic curtain had to be carefully manovered yo keep water in. 2 square feet too move to shower. Toilet squashed in behind the huge boat sink. Owners absolutely adorable. We had "garden view ". An overgrown patch of ground. But at least it was quiet. Would stay in the sister hotel in the future the Plaza hotel. Very near ferry terminal. Great restaurant opposite hotel. Had better...

「Aucune indication sur l'hôtel, ni sur la route ni sur le bâtiment. Difficile à trouver. Nous ne semblions pas attendus alors que nous étions les seuls clients. On nous a remis des draps et couvertures pour faire le lit nous-mêmes. Dommage car le gérant et sa fille (?) adolescente ont été très agréables.」
