"We were a family of 6 with parents, grandparents and 5 year old twin girls. In the words of the twins " this is amazing". Everything was perfect and the amout of things included with our stay was beyound anything we have seen before. Geraldene met us and explained everthing to us with a grand tour of the property. "We enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful hotel. The view from our room of the Douro river was amazing. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had an absolutely delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The hotel location is perfect; the waterfront, wineries and the town are all within walking distance. A perfect stay!"

"Amazing hotel and views -the location is unbeatable, the pool and property is amazing, in fact none of the pictures proves justice, this is an amazing hotel with lots to offers…. A car is required to get to the hotel, although I didn’t partake in any of the spa it did look amazing - the pool and the drinks are amazing - the breakfast is amazing where you can sit on the terrace - the restaurant offers good food although I thought it was a bit too much and overly fancy for nothing - and the taste wasn’t really there.
