"Perfect for two persons. Well equipped kitchen. Elevator for luggage. Assigned parking for a car rental. Large pool area with great view. "The property is at the top of a mountain. We rented a car and when it was wet, it was a challenge on the last part of the road due to the steepness and the poor road conditions. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm. We were yelled at and told our room would not be ready until 3pm and we should have known check in time and should not have arrived before then. We were not welcomed and were shocked at the rude manner of the staff. I had tried to email the day prior to see when a room would be ready and never heard back from the staff. We left and came back in 3 hours. Most of the common area of the hotel has been destroyed/damaged by a recent mudslide. There was only a small portion of sitting area left. The pool and the hot tub were closed. When we finally got our room, it was very nice. We liked the small kitchen that had everything we needed. It was a little odd that there was no way to 100% be inside while in the room. The barn doors to the bathroom/outside wasn't sealed so bugs got into the room. The bathroom was interesting. It did not have any curtain or any type of privacy surrounding the shower. It was just out in the open. There was some hot water when we arrived which was nice. But the next day the showers were cool. They said they use solar heating for the water and the day had been rainy and cloudy so the water was cool. I liked the private pool. It was small but nice to cool off in. Overall it met our needs but pricey for the value."

"Solid property with open common areas and a lovely breezy, tropical feel. Our room was spacious and fairly well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure strong. There was a distinct shortage of electrical outlets and those they did have were behind furniture or not in front of a table or desk so devices had to sit on the ground when charging. It also had one of those glass walls between the bathroom and the rest of the room - thankfully there were shutters (!), but when you turn the on the bathroom light at night, it it shines too brightly into the bedroom side. The pool is quite beautiful, and the resort sits on a private bay with a number of cabanas out over the water. Check-in was a bit of a test from a language point of view and you have to ask the right question or you won't get information...they tend not to volunteer it. There is no low-price option for breakfast so we had to walk 5 minutes to the grungy shopping centre next door where we found a surprisingly lovely patisserie. The in-house bar and restaurant is right by the water and looks to have been recently renovated but be ready for high prices and decidedly unremarkable food the nice surroundings. All-in-all, despite a few criticisms, it is a decent option price-wise for a shorter stay as compared, say, to the Intercontinental not far away."

"Clean and cosy lodge (not hotel) close to the airport, with full kitchen facilities, friendly and helpful owners, and a few airport transfer service. We had an early flight out and Reva happily dropped us at the airport when it opened. Supermarkets are a 15-20 minute walk away, a couple of restaurants are 10-15 minute walk away."
