Beautifully maintained old palazzo in a good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Valletta is quite small and thus incredibly walkable. Nothing is more than a few minutes away. Would stay again. If accessibility is a concern, the Layla penthouse may not be the best choice as there are a few stairs particularly between the two terraces and down to the bathroom (which does not have a door so that may not suit everyone). It does face the street where there are bars/restaurants that stay open late with music playing etc so if you are a light sleeper, this may also not be the best room for you.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic views. Quiet and secluded just the place to recharge with good food and drink and easy access to beach pools and spa.

Very nice Boutique Hotel on a quiet street convenient to all of Valetta. Customer service was excellent. Room was great! Really wonderful breakfast with excellent service.

Loved the location and easy and close by dining options and shopping. Roof top bar was awesome for the fireworks celebration while we were there. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Old character filled hotel in an excellent location within the walls of Mdina. The staff are friendly and helpful. Michelin 1 star De Mondion restaurant is a huge bonus. As expected the food is delicious and the staff are well trained in fine dining. Unexpected, the extra little tasting dishes sent out by the kitchen and a wonderful surprise birthday desert plate and card signed by the staff. Wonderful hotel and fantastic restaurant.
