"This was out 3rd stay at Westlodge: 2014, 2019 and 2024. We keep coming back due to its quality. It's obviously under new management since our last visit. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Breakfast was lovely and of good quality. If I could give 4.5 I would. I just feel the standard has slipped since our last visit. "Property staff Michael & Joyce was amazing. Service was excellent. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night which was outstanding. The only issues we had was that we booked breakfast included rate only to be told by the hotel that our booking does not include breakfast. We booked a superior room with a bath due to the fact that I had a back op, the images and information on the website showed the superior room with a bath and shower. We were told the superior room comes without a bath....

"We had no idea what to expect for our two nights and man were we happy with what we found. A safari before and after our safari - the property sits in a reserve!! The hosts are incredible and helpful. Local restaurants were fantastic. Rooms are great - breakfast outstanding - while watching the wildlife! "The place is perfect for family getaways,very spacious rooms with beautiful views and big beds,the lapa was just a Perfect ending where everyone can unwind and swim too. one think I disliked was the manger his extremely rude and not friendly to people."

"Mdluli is a lovely property right inside the Numbi gate of the park. The tents are large and comfortable, with new furnishings and well designed. The facilities are lovely--a nice bar/restaurant, great pool, and access to game drives are great. The staff is pleasant and hard working, always with smiles and kind words. Food was high quality and lots of variety. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely consider Mdluli for a longer stay at the park. Highly recommend. "
