The Cottage

Welcome to our Cozy Cottage in Panguitch, Utah! It is located one block from historic Main Street, very close to restaurants, a grocery store, and shopping. We are a great central location to visit the National Parks; 30 minutes to Bryce Canyon, and 50 minutes to Zion. We provide everything you need to feel right at home, including a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, hotel quality sheets, and memory foam mattresses. Come escape to our Cozy Cottage!

Layout includes 1 Full Bed, 1 Twin Trundle Bed (in bedroom), 1 Full Sofa Sleeper, and a toddler cot if needed.

This newly remodeled space is complete with WIF| and a Smart TV with streaming included (no log in necessary!)

TV and games for the kids are in the home as well.

Soft memory foam beds and high quality hotel bedding!

Complete with shower essentials, hair dryer, and toiletries. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking and baking needs. This also includes a BBQ outside for grilling in the summer!

Coffee (cream and sugar) and Hot Chocolate are also available for you during your stay!

** Home is sanitized and cleaned thoroughly after each stay. Cleaning Supplies, Hand Sanitizer/Disinfecting Spray is also available for guests to use**

**Bikes are provided seasonally for cruising around town** April-Oct

  • The Gem Theatre (previously known as Kinema Theatre, Hub Theatre) was built in 1909. In 1924, one of the reels of film got stuck in the projector and caught fire, igniting a full reel in the lower magazine. Only the outer shell of the theater survived the fire. The Kinema was rebuilt "as near fireproof as possible" and reopened in 1924. The Kinema Theatre was renamed the Hub Theatre in 1928. In 1933, the theatre was renovated and renamed it the Gem Theatre. After the advent of television, the theater could not attract large enough crowds to pay film rental fees. The Gem Theatre closed about 1986. The title of the last movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, remained on the marquee for ten years as the theater sat idle. Sometime after this the theater was again damaged by fire. Mark Childs, owner of Childs Construction, and his wife Heather, a retired dancer, purchased the Gem Theatre in April 2010, after moving to Panguitch from Henderson, Nevada.  After replacing the building's fire-damaged roof, the Childs rebuilt the Gem Theatre's interior and reopened it on 28 May 2011. #OnTheRoad

Perfect little cottage!

Plenty of room for the two of us to rest and relax preparing for a full day at Bryce. A great kitchen for cooking our dinner. Comfortable couch and a nice firm bed with lots cute decorations. The yard is a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery of a cute little town.

Perfectly Quaint

The Cottage was an excellent place to stay while visiting Bryce Canyon! The host was extremely informative of the Cottage and also about local dining and suggestions for the visiting the Park. We highly recommend and will plan on being back again.

Week stay at the cottage

The Cottage is the perfect location for hikers! Close drives to Bryce and Red Canyon, and close enough for day trips to Escalante and Zion. It’s also within walking distance to some good restaurants and a grocery store. Host was very communicative and made sure we were comfortable when there was a slight heating issue. All her recommendations were great too!
