We had a number of probkens which were never resolved despite frequent calls to Pristine PropertIes and their attempots to fix things.
1) The aIr conditioning never worked well. The downstairs (2nd level) consistently stayed at 78 to 80 degrees. The master suite on the 3rd level was cool, but the other bedrooms and bath were stifling. Two visits by maintenance helped slightly (the upstairs finally cooled on our last night). 2) The refrigerator side of the fridge NEVER got cold. A maintenancy guy said everything checked out, but our food was never cold, just barely cool. We called about this more than once.
3) The wifi was out for 2+ days. Maintenance guy said he could get a signal outside. Well, we couldn't inside.
4) Our checki-in was delayed by close to an hour (We were all there on time) because the inspector didn't come for over 45 minutes past checkin time.
5) The digital lock wouldn't work...insoecter used a key. We had to be sure someone was always at the house.
6) The mattresses in the queen bedroom and bunkroom were truly awful. My 16 yr old grandson had the bottom bunk bed, and the mattress on it was very thin.
7) There is simply no beach at that location on Cape San Blas. We should have been made aware that the beach restoration had not resumed in the two years since Michael, leaving basically a cliff with a very steep drop-off and maybe 10 feet of beach at low tide.
8) The house's description said it slept 10. 2 in each of the 3 bigger bedrooms = 6. The bunkroom could sleep a small person in each bunkbed, and 2 very small children ir 1 double bed...definitely not 5. Let's not embellish here.
9) Minor, but gross...upstairs bathroom wastebasket had not been emptied, and there was a large roach in the refrigerator.
We called Pristibe Properties multiple times while we were staying at the house. My son asked to speak to whomever was in charge; he was told the owner was gone until Monday. We checked out on Sunday. He called several times the week following our checkout. The owner was always "busy" and would call back. He never did. We are seeking a credit of at the very least one night's stay, as well as a credit on the cleaning fees.
