"We spent 5 lovely days at Surfview. The location, balcony and view were the absolute highlights. Easy walk to the dog beach, river mouth and Pambula Beach. The kitchen is well equipped, beds were comfy and bathrooms clean. We did have the kangaroo family present for the duration of our stay so some negotiations were required with the dog to sniff elsewhere at times. "Our small group arrived at the property on Xmas Day to discover it had not been cleaned with dirty linen and towels on the floor. The verandah was covered in bird droppings from some birds who had taken up home in the ceiling. All the outdoor furniture cushions were also covered so we were unable to sit on any of the furniture. The sink in the bathroom was blocked, the carpets were stained and the bedrooms smelt musty. Needless to say it ruined our Xmas holiday. We would not recommend this...

"We loved our stay here. Property is older but is very clean and well appointed. Great for a family. So close to the water and the main street of town. Plenty of space and parking. We loved our stay. My only disappointment was the lack of a smart TV. Seems trivial, I know, but after a long day it’s nice to hotspot from your phone and sign into your own Netflix account. The tv was just a standard one and there was a dvd player but no dvds. "

"This is a delightful property but looking a bit tired. The TV audio is poor, the lounge suite is not comfortable and the front room mattress offers no back support. Bed Lin This property provided everything we needed for a comfortable holiday and the secure yard is ideal for pets. The bed linen was excellent as were the generous sized towels. We appreciated the proximity to beautiful Lake Curalo and the boardwalk. We would book again."
