For me the issue was as lovely as the staff were as people, the level of service was poor, not just poor for a 5* hotel, but poor for any hotel. "We had a lovely 5 night stay at Chrysoula’s. We had a one bedroom apartment in block F - my husband and I stayed in the bedroom and our 17-year old son had a bed in the living/kitchen area. The air con unit is in the bedroom but if you keep the middle door open then it travels through. Air con does cost a little extra but it’s worth it. The apartments are basic but functional and we enjoyed the outside veranda. If a busy hotel is what you’re looking for then this place isn’t for you. We like the...

"The resort is impressive, boasting several pools, playgrounds, bars and restaurants. We were only there for one night, and chose to eat dinner in the town of Kardamena, which is only a 10minute walk away. The town is lively, with lots of shopping in addition to places to eat and drink. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and diverse. It's very convenient to the airport."

"The staff was very nice. We were there for four day. It was in a good location for walking to the beach into the stores. Only issue was air-conditioned. Did not work properly. Got hot in the evenings in the room. Staff did what they could to get it fixed unfortunately we left for our next island before it did get fixed."

"If you like a quieter location, less crowed hotel with great service, this is the place to come. My family stayed in a suite which holds 4 guests. The room was spacious, and although not full of features, it suited us perfectly. We stayed half board and food quantity was not lots, like some hotels, but for sure made up for in quality.
