This hotel is all about Location! If you want to be close to the shopping and restaurants of El Paseo, then, this is your place! Nothing spectacular about the rooms, but they are nice, clean and comfortable. The Larkspur Grill is nice to have on site and there is a little cafe that makes excellent Lattes! I did notice that the rooms below me had extended balconies with lounge chairs that I didn't see when making my reservation. They said that only 2 of the rooms had that and they moved me to that room without any additional charge, so that was nice!

I gave the hotel three stars because we were not told about a daily resort fee that amounted to an additional $300USD when we checked out. The staff seemed to be unfriendly and a little rude. Otherwise, hotel was great, great location, great lobby area to hang out in.

Nicely decorated, friendly staff, coffee in the lobby! The bed was comfortable, my dog and I both enjoyed the neighborhood walk. This is a shopping destination place.

Retro style boutique hotel with all the in-house amenities you would need and all the pedestrian amenities you want. Great location. Great vibe. We'll definitely be staying there on our next trip to the Valley.

I wish every hotel was a lovely, complete, clean and inviting as this hotel. I look forward to returning. Comfortable bed, beautifully appointed and decorated. Courteous and friendly staff from the valet/bellperson to the baristas. Everything was perfect!

It’s a pleasure to stay here. The hotel has a terrific location next to shopping, a nice restaurant on premises, and a great staff. Honestly, it’s a win. My daughter requested it, and we have stayed a couple of times. They do a good job.

The property is beautiful. They checked us in early which was great. The room however was interesting. The bathroom fan would not turn off. When we inquired they told us all the fans stayed on but engineering would come and disable it. The room floor also vibrated on and off like the spin cycle on a washer. Then the room next to ours had a dog that would not stop barking. The hotel would not move us until we physically went down to the front desk to speak to the manager. We had to stand there till they moved us. We went down to the restaurant at 6 to order a quick pasta to go only to be told the restaurant was overwhelmed and no take out orders. The dining room was only 5% occupied and that was confusing. They told me to go to the cafe in the lobby. They were out of the food that we wanted. Which was pizza or a grilled cheese. Again, the hotel is gorgeous, beds comfy, but…. I would not stay again.

First time staying at this property, read plenty of positive reviews so I decided to book for a quick trip before NYE. I wasn’t disappointed, the hotel was very nice, balcony to enjoy the night breeze, staff was more than cordial from the valet service to front desk staff onto the housekeeping. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, helpful and most importantly welcoming. I definitely will book again when we return in February. Top notch services and staff.

Almost perfect
Great staff, valets were very attentive. One small detail, drapes were torn in the corner. Wouldn't free coffee at the lobby snack bar be nice? The room, with all the fees, over $375. (Destination fee, which I just don't understand, was $40 ) Free coffee would probably result in guests purchasing pastries, etc., so seems like a VERY small expense to the hotel.

Modern retro beauty
We stayed here over the Christmas holiday and the staff was attentive and quick to respond for requests. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities of the hotel. Ambiance was very inviting and the artwork was suberb. Will stay here again!

Valet parking was complicated because it took arbitrary amount of time for valets to retrieve a car from the hotel garage. We ended up parking at the street in front of the hotel.

My husband and I took a quick overnighter from Los Angeles to Palm Desert! This Boutique Hotel is AWESOME! The location is perfect, close to many FAB shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was 🔥 The staff was super friendly. The hotel was filled with cool photographs, and a classic car in the lobby! The vibe is chill and inviting. We will be back.

The staff was the greatest assist to this property. They all were so helpful they made the stay . However had to move rooms several times , one was due to the fridge not being clean and the carpets had major stains as though no one cleaned and carpets not cleaned period or just didn’t care . . Then next to elevator with a baby and had to move due to major noise . This is a great hotel , great location the staff make the hotel period , but cleanliness could be improved considerably and the restaurant food .
