The hotel has a wonderful antique feeling to it from the entrance, the main areas, and the rooms. The single and the duplex rooms were equally spacious which was very appreciated. The staff is also 24/7 and so helpful when checking in and out. There was also complimentary tea time from 2-5 each day my family was there.

Got a room that was supposed to have sea view but we only got the horizon part as the lower view was obscured by another block (but only 2 storey). Apart from the above, Lone Pine is a superb resort for those who love basking under the shades of tropical trees and pines too, has well maintained and clean facilities, enjoying the serenity of Batu Ferringhi. Food (breakfast) and drinks were very good too. The play room has large TV screen and we actually stayed up till 1am to watch Champions' League... We loved this resort and definitely would be back again!!

This property is quite old, according to our Grab driver it's about 50 years old and it shows. They only have 3 lifts, one of which wasn't in service the entire time we were there. The lifts were slow and crowded. Our room had torn bedding the day we checked in, the bathroom had grime under the sink. This property way past its prime. The only thing they have going for them is its location and the people who work there, service was excellent. Everyone greeted guests with warm smiles. The breakfast buffett was very good, that alone made up for much that is wrong with this hotel.

Our stay at Eastin Hotel Penang was excellent. The hotel provided a comfortable, clean, and quiet environment, and its proximity to Queensbay Mall was very convenient. A special commendation goes to Ms Azura, whose consistent warm welcome and cheerful demeanor significantly enhanced our breakfast experience. The breakfast itself was already among the best we have encountered. Additionally, Dave, the chef at the warm food counter, consistently prepared exceptionally fluffy and moist omelets. Mr. Shakib, a member of the executive lounge service crew, was remarkably attentive. He was the first to proactively inquire if we required any alcoholic beverages or beer, beyond those available at the self-service drink counter. Our housekeeper, Jitender, also deserves recognition. He always greeted us with enthusiasm and diligently ensured that everything was in order throughout our stay. We look forward to returning to Eastin Hotel Penang on our next visit to the area.

The hotel is generally good. Near the Chowprasta Market and Lebuh Keng Kwee street food. Within walking distance to Armenian St and Cannon St. Many food options nearby. The only downside was the room cleaning was only completed around 2 to 3pm. There were 2 days which I came back after lunch and the rooms were not made up yet.
