Cute Peruvian hotel close to town - walkable to a mini market and restaurants. We would stand outside the hotel and flag down a motortaxi if we wanted to go further. They would charge us $5-8 sol ( about $1.75-$2.75 us ) to go into the town square or to the train station . The town square is really cute. The beds were comfy and the worker will give you a heater for your room if you’re cold ( we went in winter) . They stored our roll on bags while we went to Agues Calientes (Machu Picchu) for a night ( we packed our back packs for one night to take with us so we wouldn’t have excess baggage on the train ) then we came back to this same hotel and spent another night . It worked out great !

This was a breathtaking view!!! Very remote location, you will travel deep in Urubamba but if you are looking for peace, this is the place. Gerry was magnificent, place is lucky to have him. My only complaints, wish their menu had more options and the beds were definitely on the hard side.
