A full kitchen has everything you need to cook some of Maine's famous seafood. Both the eat-in kitchen and formal dining area provide ample seating while offering picture-perfect views of Penobscot Bay. After the day's activities, unwind with family and friends in the living room, where a gas fireplace adds a warm glow to chilly weather. House was warm, cozi and perfect for our family. Love that it had twin beds in one room - so much better for teens than a single double/queen bed. Was perfect place to hunker down in the snow. We were visiting friends, but it was lovely and my mom enjoyed the view and fireplace while recovering from catching something over the holidays. Definately will visit again when in the area.

Lovely Apartment in Perfect Location

We loved the property and especially watching the sunrise each morning right from the living. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The 2nd bathroom had a tub only, which was a bit inconvenient for our group. Would stay again.

A wonderful view

The house was exactly as advertised. It’s very well maintained and very well appointed. But, the best part is the view. Also, very close to Rockland center and all the activities there. We were very happy with our stay.

Coastal trip

Very nice place with a million dollar view out the living room window. It was very clean and a nice neighborhood. Right on the water. Two couples and was comfortable for us. I would definitely stay there again.

Very Clean and comfortable home.

We were impressed with cleanliness when we got there. It felt like a warm homecoming. The view is excellent and location is great. We went to two of 3 local lighthouses. They have chairs and a picnic table to sit outside to enjoy the view. There is only one shower but the 6 of us had no problem working around that. We used their crockpot for one of our meals, kitchen well equipped.

The Holiday Meal

My in-laws lives nearby in Spruce Head. For the last few years they are unable to make the 5 hr drive to visit us. This house has been perfect the last 2 years to house our family of five and host a holiday meal for them to come over and share. The house not only has a gorgeous view but is in a great location for our needs. I hope to be able to continue this new tradition ❤️

Waterfront view

Tidewater is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood and we spent alot of time using the telescope and gazing at the harbor boats. It has everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, cooking and being together. Also appreciated the slight ramp and wall handle in one of the bathrooms which would be helpful to someone with mobility issues. The floor was immaculate and my grandson had a ball playing on it with his toys.

Another great vacation in Maine

We try to make it to Maine as often as we can, always staying with there bay as our back yard. We also always rent a house for a week or two. This year we tried a different area of Maine and liked the surroundings a lot. The house was the cleanest house who have ever rented. It was well organized and offered a=very comfortable beds and lounge area. The kitchen is somewhat outdated (especially the coffee machine), needed some better cookware, but we made it work. We LOVED the view from the huge windows. So much better than any TV show one can offer. However, we were greatly disappointed that there is no easy access to the outside or a place to sit right from the living room (like a deck). The backyard had a picnic table, but to access it was very inconvenient if we really wanted to eat there. The beach is accessible from down the block (easy walk). Overall, the house is located on a quiet street very close to Rockland Main Street and other local attractions.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Tideview! We enjoyed dinner in the backyard every night to soak up the amazing view. The place had everything we needed with 2 adults and 2 kids.

Of course the most outstanding thing about this property was the view. There was nothing more restful than sitting in a recliner with the fireplace going and looking out at the bay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
