Serene Farmhouse

The location was perfect for our family and the house is beautifully redone. Plus, the views are amazing, sunsets during this time of year cannot be beat. Our family was extremely comfortable and the house was supplied with everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your family’s farm!

Farmhouse Retreat

This property is well maintained, clean, beautifully remodeled and decorated. My family and I were in town for a wedding and this space was perfect for us. Wish we would have stayed longer. I highly recommend!

Wonderful place to relax

My wife and I had a relaxing weekend at this beautiful farm. The lake is wonderful and we enjoyed sitting on the front patio and admired the view. Watching the cows in the field around the house was enjoyable too. The house will accommodate a large group and we look forward to having a family gathering here soon.

Great place for family time

2nd year of long family weekend. Beautiful house, lots of space. Bedrooms perfect for 3 families. Wonderful farmland views. Super fun lake. Owner is kind and quick to respond. We'll be back!

Beautiful and serene!!

First of all I appreciate the owner who took time to share crisp and clear instructions with us on how to reach there. Though we reached there little late we had no trouble with the unlocking process and getting in safe. Very beautiful and large house, with a great modernized interior. Though it is listed as for 10 people, the kids bed room with so many bunk beds itself would accommodate 10 :-) We had a great time, didn't get much opportunity to explore outdoors due to short stay and slight rains throughout.

Perfect spot!

We had a decent sized group of 10 and the farmhouse fit all our needs. Well stocked on the kitchen. The owner was very responsive and the property is just beautiful. Great place to disconnect a bit (but excellent wifi if you need a little tech too)

Fantastic Family Vacation Site

Wonderful location for a family weekend with kids and grandkids. The house is big and beautiful, had everything we needed and bedroom setup was perfect for our family. Great yard for outside activities. The views are fantastic. And the pond/lake! We had so much fun swimming, kayaking, pedal boating and fishing! This rental has so much to offer! We will be back!

Incredible Experience!

Pictures do not do it justice! To fully experience all this property has to offer, you just have to go. Beautiful views of Missouri rolling hills, updated and very clean home complete with an outdoor oasis, small town community, large pond and all kinds of wildlife, this place is quite the escape! To top it all off, the host is super quick to answer any questions about the property or surrounding area, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us. We can't wait to visit again!

Awesome Farmhouse

This home was a perfect spot for us to stay for our niece's wedding that was at a venue a few miles away. The farmhouse is beautifully renovated and has everything we needed. We loved sitting outside at night sipping wine and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Layne for letting us rent your beautiful home!

Perfect Peaceful Farmhouse!

Beautiful restored farmhouse. The online photos don’t do it justice. Every room in house is beautifully restored and decorated. The host has in place “everyday” necessities you may have forgotten which is such a nice touch. Location is perfect and the views of the countryside from the farmhouse are spectacular!

Annual vacation

This home was absolutely perfect for our annual vacation! The property is pretty secluded, with no other houses visible from the yard, and minimal traffic on the road. You feel like you’re way out there, but it is only 10 minutes from town—which made running to the store for food and supplies very easy . The home is beautifully renovated and has a rustic and farmhouse feel. The basic amenities you would need are all provided. There was only 4 of us and our dog, so it was more than enough room for us. We spent most of our trip fishing and swimming. The pond on the property is absolutely perfect. We all agreed this is the best swimming / fishing area we’ve had on any of our yearly vacations. there is a kayak and paddle boat on the property to use, which we loved. We had an amazing and relaxing trip, thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home!

Beautiful home with breathtaking views. Perfect for a getaway.

Walking into the renovated farmhouse was an enjoyable experience. Everything is newly updated and absolutely gorgeous. Home is fully stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space and bedrooms. Located on nice property with breathtaking views. 20 minutes away from White Mule winery which I recommend visiting.

Beautiful views and great house

We had an offsite meeting at another venue but didn't have enough beds for the overnight. Layne was great to communicate with and our team that stayed at his place said it was fantastic with beautiful views and a wonderful updated house. Thanks Layne!
