Based on the rate : We like the A/C& overall cleanless ! We didn’t like the Foam Mattresses, Quality of the sheets and towels . TV not working, No coffee machine, not enough electricity sockets, no curtains apart from blinds and not enough lighting i.e., no Small lamps, no bedside tables ! We understand this place is stidents manage but at least some ‘ Must ‘ cannot be overlooked …

They refused to let me not pay for the second night despite having notified them within 24 hours instead of 48 hours. My son was sick I had to leave. None of the 4 or 5 different staff members were terribly sympathetic. The neighbourhood was terrible. There was a meth head hopping up and down in from the property, I walked the street (Rideau) shortly after to meet friends, I saw no less than 3 junkies with needles in their arms or passed on. And this was 5 at night. My son saw a rat under a car in the adjacent parking lot - the lot was not officially part of the residency but it was right next door and I had to park there. I also had to pay cash instead of debit to avoid paying extra charges for the next day when we left.

Rooms were not as good as shown in the pictures, lights were pretty low, could not adjust the air condition through out the stay. Water was not coming properly from the bathroom basin and was making huge noise. Parking was mentioned at $10 per day but over night parking was much costly , had to pay nearly $50 for the parking for the whole stay.

A lot of unstable homeless people in the area. Not very good for university students.

Overall good. But the beds weren't great. Also there was always noise due to plumbing pipes problems (sounding like trumpets.. even during the night).

Beds super uncomfortable and no Sheets on the bed either!! Horrible experience!!! The beds were not sturdy, the mattress was so bad and it gave me body aches And there were NO proper sheets on the bed!

Room was exactly as advertised. Great value. Room was very basic but very clean. Beds were very basic but we all slept fine. Staff were all very lovely and respectful at the desk. Location in terms of Geography is excellent. But in terms of activity around the actual building, wasn’t ideal. This is obviously not the residences fault, it’s downtown Ottawa. Lots of drug use openly on the street, and around the building. But location to byward market and parliament was perfect. I would stay here again.
