"We had 9 adults and 1 six year old at this property. It was a beautiful lake front home with plenty of room for all of us to gather together. We all had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this home. There was one canoe, one kayak and 2 tandem kayaks for us to use which we did several times. Hearing the loons in the evening made my stay even better"

"The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea). Furniture is not very comfortable for TV watching. Also when looking at the photos it appeared the water was closer than a mile or so away. "Nice, well kept house away from the hustle & bustle of Bar Harbor for our first visit to the Coast of Maine. Loved having morning coffee on the deck with the view of the harbor and ocean and then at night sitting out taking in the star-filled sky. Only suggestion would be to leave either the porch or garage light on on the day someone new is checking in for the first time. We arrived well after dark and had a hard time seeing where the door was to enter the house."

"What a wonderful find. 15 minutes to Acadia; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. James is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, helpful ( He even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs to the unit). Beds were very comfortable.Area was quiet. We enjoyed looking a birds & wild turkeys out our window. Be aware the unit is up a flight of stairs which is clearly stated & shown in the pictures. I would stay here again next time I come to Maine."
