「Rooms were not ready for check in despite time provided by staff. No room cleaning or anything like that without asking. For 300 plus a night, would have liked something that set it apart from other hotels in the area.」

「We stayed at first floor with ocean view. Parking is small but enough. This hotel faces on the ocean so it is convenient to walk to the bridge. But this area is similar to Montrey but very cold in May. This town is very small so only limited choice of the restaurant and it looks pricy.」

「I loved the beachfront part of it. The balconies were so cute and accessible and personal:). They had very accessible parking and it was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing is the room could have been a bit cleaner and they told us they don’t have daily room service and if you need anything to ask. It was great vibes and it is no smoking so keep that in mind even though there is a balcony:)」

「This was easy to book online, checking in only took a couple mins. It was clean. The beds are comfortable. They have a blow dryer and an electric fan! Will stay here again!」

「Name had changed from what I had booked. The room was dirty, drain broken and downright depressing. Stayed one night since I didn't have another option and booked a different hotel. Terrible. The only highlight was there was a restaurant out front. That's it.」

I went to the room and the HVAC unit was in front of the room on the ground, it wasnt terribly cold but there was a hole in the wall now. a technician came to the room at 9:30pm to install the new hvac, I made him leave at 10.」

When we asked to change rooms we were told they could not switch our rooms and we would just have to deal with it and that we should have expected that because it's a pet friendly hotel. 「Well I’m going to start with a positive…. Great parking and easy access to the main rd thru Fort Bragg. Within walking distance to a few bfast spots and or coffee shops. 「My husband, dog, and I stayed at Mendocino Cove during their soft opening in June 2026. The property was so peaceful, pet-friendly, and extremely clean. It was a little zen oasis between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. It was so convenient to have to have pickleball courts to play at anytime, and the private beach was an absolute gem.
