The sleeping area is located on the second floor of the property, and includes a queen size bedroom. Via the staircase to access the second floor we find the laundry room. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates with the Cathedral that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal clear sea. Characteristic are its alleys, the Piazza della Libertà and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town. Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing towns with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally Matera, characteristic for its Sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.Brindisi and Bari airports are 30 and 70 minutes away by car, respectively, while Ostuni train station is a 7-minute drive away.
