Terrazza Pilli by Wonderful Italy
Lovely apartment in the heart of the historic center of Ostuni, perfect for a holiday discovering the beauties of Puglia.
The house has the characteristic structure of the houses of Ostuni, which is spread over several floors. From the entrance, going up the stairs on the left you reach the living area with an open-plan kitchen, a living room with a sofa and a dining table, and a bathroom with a shower. Going up the stairs on the right you reach the first master bedroom. On the second floor there is the second master bedroom, with an ensuite toilet. From here you have access to the terrace, the best part of the house: there is a dining table, a barbecue and a sink, and on the upper floor of the terrace there is a solarium area with sun loungers.
*The shower is small in size.
Free wifi, heating and ceiling fans will be available in the accommodation.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park, and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà, and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli, and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic of its Sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi Airport is a 40-minute drive away, while Bari International Airport is 100 km away.
