Biokikko country house

Casetta Biokikko is a small country house which is part of our farm. Just 2 km from Ostuni, it is surrounded by nature in a sheltered and quiet position, protected by an oak forest and reachable only through a private road. Guests can therefore enjoy the sounds of the Apulian countryside, away from the din of the summer nightlife: an ideal place to relax after spending the day at the beach, preparing for the evening around the beautiful Salento. The house of about 70 square meters, has a main body that was obtained from the recovery of a typical "Lamiodda", a dry peasant construction built with the same techniques used for the Trulli, from which it differs for the lack of a cone roof , replaced by a more functional barrel vault. From this Lamia, which houses the kitchenette and the breakfast corner, you then enter the bathroom and the sleeping area, represented by 2 bedrooms, one double and one single.

Guests can exclusively enjoy all the outdoor areas, covering an area of about 1 hectare, including a small but tall pine forest. The rest of the land is partly olive grove (terraces) and partly a young orchard.

Depending on the period, it is possible to taste apricots, mulberries, figs, prickly pears, cherries, blackberries, apples, pears, etc. according to the various ripening periods, harvesting the fruit of plants that do not undergo any phytosanitary treatment, grown according to Natural Farming techniques.
