State Forests are nearby with groomed trails for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Downhill skiing and snowboarding is just 20 minutes away. Further up Rt. 16 is North Conway with many other ski slopes available plus popular outlet shopping. Just 8 miles away, in downtown Wolfeboro you will find several unique shops and excellent dining. As you close out the day you may want to roast hot dogs and toast s’mores over the outside stone fire pit. Make sure you have plenty of hot chocolate to go around.
