Beautiful spot and a nice small resort with it's own beach on Osoyoos Lake. Also very nice lake front views from a pool and hot tubs. Rooms were bright , new and clean. And a very nice little restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here when in Osoyoos again.

Highly recommend! The rooms were incredibly large, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Had a very comfortable stay.

PROS: The location was perfect, driving and walking distance to many wineries and attractions. There was a lovely garden on the grounds. The pool, hot tub and private beach was so nice.
CONS:
The air conditioner was very noisy, it ran on and off non-stop for 4 days and interrupted our sleep several times.
The seating provided in the room, a sofabed/couch and a chair were very uncomfortable, so it was hard to sit and relax in the evening.
We went to the restaurant one evening for dinner and did not have a good experience, the staff seemed overwhelmed, they did not greet us, or check up as the meal progressed - there were only 6 tables but it seemed they were rushed off their feet. One of the servers was wearing a bucket hat and Adidas hoodie which we thought was not very professional in that type of setting. We enjoyed the chicken wings and bakes brie, but could not eat the dessert as it was frozen solid.
We would book here again, but a lake view - we faced the road this time as they were busy and did not have any lakeview rooms available.
Outdoor hot tub was under repair, but swimming pool was great and the view of the lake!! Unfortunately dining facility was not open (off season ) which we did not know they close for. Far from town but walkable area past residential but too many midges flying around in May.
Great stay. Like home away from home. Had to work so having separation of rooms was great. View of the pool and the lake was spectacular. Very quiet, comfy beds. Highly recommended.
Was super quiet stay actually. Not much people around still this time around so was nice to be able to find easy parking everywhere and l wineries werent so busy.. staff was alright, only had one minor inconvenience..we wanted some robes to take to the pool but there was none in the room so went to ask front desk but was told to contact housekeeping.. which noone answered after many tries. Eventually got them hours later. Restaurant was closed for a private event while we were there so couldnt try it. Overall not bad, would probably stay here again.
“ We Stayed at Walnut Beach Resort for 2 nights as a family. The location was perfect, The resort at the Lake. The room was clean and comfortable, The Lake view was amazing from the resort pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a good value for money, and I would like to stay here again.”
There is no coffee or tea available beyond the help yourself facilities in the room. This consisted of lousy coffee (1 packet and no Decaf) along with chemical dry milk substitute and sweeteners. Cheaper hotels provide these amenities PLUS a coffee and tea service with real drip coffee.
My overall stay was good, but I’d like to mention two things. First, they charged a $300 deposit for my stay, which wasn’t mentioned during the booking process. It wasn’t really necessary. Second, the staff on the night shift was a bit rude. I think management needs to provide more training in customer service.
The restaurant was closed all weekend due to maintenance, which was a bit strange. However, I did have relaxing time.
Very nice well maintained property. King bed room was clean and spacious. Appreciate the underground parking and fast elevators. Pool was great and the beach area. Bring lots of bug spray.
